Oh God, if I go less than 1, I would. First of all it was a 45 - 1 hour wait. Ive been craving IHOP since they opened but havent been able to get by there. The place is small, however, I choose to wait. I find seating in their community seating area right in front of door, Im hungry no problem, as long as I can eat. I sit as soon as the other patrons get up, waiting 20 minutes for them to clean off tables and take our orders and thats only after asking the manager who took one item and never came back for the remaining, again having to ask if someone would clean off table and take our orders. Finally took our orders, as my stomach growls and I anxiously await my food. Food comes, butter doesnt even move from on top of pancake, why, because the pancake is cold, also order strawberry whip cream pancakes, those pancakes were cold as well as get this the strawberries was FROZEN. WTH. Strawberry cream cheese crepes, well COLD again, and guess what was missing. CREAM Cheese. Crazy, at least grandbaby 5 tiny stack of pancakes were warm, she at least enjoyed that. Oh but the patrons sitting across from us also had issues too, with eggs, and heres the kicker, their pancakes were cold as well, but when he flipped his pancake, he noticed he had smeared chocolate among other things stuck to the bottom of his plate and he didnt even order chocolate chip pancakes. Can you say Dirty plate. I was done. and will never ever go back. Manager was just as off, if not more. There was one particular waitress who was working another table, that tried her best to help out our table. We didnt pay and would not have paid. Service and Food SUCKS!

THIS WAS THE WORST IHOP IVE EVER BEEN TO! First, it took 20 minutes before our server even came to our table and took our drink order. By then we were ready to give our full food order and they were out of all crepes. How do you run out of crepes? Then it took the gal another 10 minutes to come back to our table to give us our drinks and take our order again. A FULL 30 MINUTES BEFORE WE GOT OUR DRINKS. And she forgot my water, which took another 10 minutes. The waitress said twice shell be right with us, but just never made it around, so its not like she didnt know we were there. I asked to see a manager and it took the manager 10 minutes to get to our table and she gave a very meek apology. It didnt really seem to bother her. So we finally get our food a full ONE HOUR AFTER ARRIVING, and my daughters french fries werent even ready. That took another 10 minutes. The people sitting next to us left after being completely ignored for 30 minutes. Its not like they were understaffed because there were plenty of workers walking around. I even noticed a couple workers just sitting on their asses in the back. None of the workers seemed like they cared at all and there was no sense of urgency with anybody. Finally, after being ignored completely for the last 15 minutes, my family of five just walked out without paying our bill. The server never came to check on us, ask us if we needed anything, and never brought our bill. The service was awful. The food was ok, not terrible. I refused to pay. Whoever the franchise owner is is doing an awful job of running their business. It wont last long after what my family experienced.

EXTREMELY UNPRFESSIONAL!!! First things first, were not greeted at the door whatsoever. The hostess we had didnt acknowledge us at all. She didnt say hello, welcome to IHOP, nothing at all. They put my SMALL children who both need high chairs in front of the doors where the cold breeze would hit them every time the door opened. Our waitress was very nice but didnt seem like she had much experience, she spilled my husbands drink on the table when handing it to him. Not much, and she did being more napkins to help clean it up so that was very appreciated. In the 45 minutes I was there, I saw 3 different people come in that were not properly accommodated for, 2 elderly women came in and when the hostess went to seat them she walked so fast that they couldnt keep up. They also didnt take into consideration that the woman had a walker and no room to put it anywhere. To me a nice place is somewhere where they greet you and where they make you feel welcome and like nothing is a burden, I got NO good vibes here and probably will not be coming back. As for the food, that was great! It tasted great came out in a timely manner and was wonderful. The staff, not so much. Maybe do better interviews and hire more experianced workers.

I am writing this review while I am sotting here at ihop in Harrisburg. Today was my first time here and thanks to the waitress it will be my LAST time here. The waitress we had was a SNOB and had an awful attitude. She was nowhere near friendly and is very sarcastic. (I know her name but I prefer not to mention it). I asked for a refill on my drink and it took her 20 mins to bring my drink back. I got my drink then after about 5 mins i asked for another refill and she said "I just brought you one" its a small glass that had mostly ice. When she brought me a refill it was the wrong drink! They completely forgot my sisters food and its even her birthday today. When they finally brought her food it was so cold. They did not bring my daughters toast and when they did it was blacker then black and had no butter. I told the waitress it had no butter and she said shell bring butter the toast is ice cold the butter wont melt. So she brought new toast but had an extreme attitude about it. I will never ever go bavk to this place ever again i dont wanna risk having this waitress and having such awful service as well!

Avoid this place like the plague. Firstly, I waited 30 minutes to be seated. I ordered chocolate milk, and 10 minutes later, the waitress brought it to me with the cup PRESSED AGAINST HER BOOB. Not on a tray. Strike one. I ordered my meal with a side of bacon, and 45 MINUTES LATER it arrived with a side of some hotdog. I mentioned thats not what I ordered, and she replied it was substituted, no bacon. Strike two. The pancakes were unbelieveably dry and cold, and tasted a few hours old. When the bill finally came, I was OVERCHARGED about 6$ for the hotdog thing I didnt order. Strike 3. Now granted the entire staff was black, and I white. The black family beside me received their food 30 minutes before me, and the waitress checked on them regularly. I didnt get a single checkup for empty drinks, and overall was ignored. When I pointed out the error on the recept, it was my fault for ordering the hotdog side, which I didnt. So if youre black, and like breast milk, this is the place for you. For a white guy who wants a delicious breakfast, go to Waffle House.
