My husband and I dine at Old Country at least once a month. The Harrisburg OC is badly in need of a re-do! It is out of date with its Rockwell prints and tired carpeting. Many of the booths have broken springs which makes the tables too high fot women and children. The red water glasses really need to be replaced, they have gone through the wash far too many times! I usually wash the flatware with a wet-wipe as it isnt always clean. The restroom needs attention more often. I will tell you what brings us there now, lest you wonder why we go! I LOVE the cucumber, tomato & onion salad. Husband is fond of broccoli salad. We were both fans of your fudge but that has been gone for a year, despite many requests. The pecan pie is pretty good, but we miss the frozen yogurt you used to have. We do appreciate the coupons as long as a drink is not required. We are water drinkers at home and do not care for sodas or slushies. A cup of tea or coffee should not cost several dollars! The Harrisburg OC has very nice servers who work hard to insure that dirty dishes dont stay long. It would help if the dirty dish stations were masked more than they arte.

We were there for a birthday party 2-20-2016. We had 14 people which included 2 babies that needed high chairs. They had reserved a table for us, but they did not expect as many as showed up. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. The manager had things ship shape in no time with the help of our waiter, a wonderful guy named Lorenzo. Lorenzo is just super, a hard worker who knows his stuff. And the food was fantastic! Weve been there for several birthday parties and are planning to go again next February or maybe even sooner. Not one single person in our party complained about the food at all. Every one of us made more than one trip to the food bar. I was there several times over the past year on my way to Hershey to take a lady from our church to the hospital. She had never been there. After the first visit she was ready to go again! Keep an eye out for me cuz Ill be back! :-) You get a lot of good food and dont have to mortgage your house to get it.

Food: 2/10-You cant expect much from buffets in the way of quality food, but the food here is unacceptable. The selection is very limited, a steak (undercooked) or a side of ham, some beans or mash-potatoes, and maybe (if your lucky) a baked potato with rank salsa and a cheese so hard I could have sworn it brie until I saw it said cheddar. Beware, those who were brought in by the "Mongolian Bar", it is noodles under there already nasty chicken. The ice cream machine was busted while I was there, but word was it wasnt anything to lose your waistline for. But on the bright side, I took my pink steak home and the dog loved it. Presentation: 3/10- The atmosphere was quite dated, and sadly quite dirty. I dont believe the blame falls on the staff as there isnt enough of them. This originally was going to be a two after every spoon in the rack was dirty, but it got an extra point because was kind of cute. Price: Definitely not worth the 10 per person

Been low key trying to get this place shut down. I liked my job there because their were SOME amazing people but overall that place is DISGUSTING and ran POORLY. they have a CRACK HEAD making the food with NO gloves on and he dont take showers. Corporate KNOWS he dont and they DONT CARE! the cooks cook and eat the food back in the kitchen lick their fingers and began to cook again without washing their hands. Its DISGUSTING! ! Ive spoke on it MULTIPLE TIMES but the managers DONT CARE. The girls bathroom ALWAYS smell like old period pads . The hot bars are ALWAYS TRIFLING dried up food, brown broccoli

Horrible horrible horrible. If negative stars were possible, that is what I would put. The place is ridiculously depressing. Everybody in there looks like they are below the poverty line. Food is purely inedible. Saw a couple of microwaveable noodle packets that they were serving. The meat is all uncooked, and way too raw to even cut properly. Staff was decent, but nothing outstanding. Eat here if you dont care about nutrition and you want lots of food for cheap. Bottom line is, if I had to live off of Old Country Buffet, I would starve.

Old Country Buffet has finally hit bottom. The restaurant needs a good cleaning first of all. And their food has really lost the quality it used to offer. Their prices have gone up and they now charge for beverages. Two of us ate their for over $25.00. Better places for less money. I used to go there strictly for their fried chicken. Best ever. The last two times,I could not even find a chicken breast and their chicken coating is very different...Too much pepper. Taking this one off our list....

Surprisingly I would probably not have gone to this place if I had read these reviews. But I went here for thanksgiving and the food was really nice. I rarely go to buffets because the of the bad quality of food usually, but this place was surprisingly good. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and would definitely go again. The salad bar was pretty good with a nice selection. They also had turkey, steak, roast beef and ham. Good food.

it was an ok place to dine. was there Thursday afternoon there was a little girl running the bars herself which is a bit unfair. the baked chicken was raw and the stuffing was hard. our waitress was extremely friendly very cool guy. my husband loves drums but there wasnt any in the bin but the little girl bought out a fresh batch just for my husband. it was ok for our first time

I should preface this by saying Im not a fan of buffets or Old Country Buffet. That being said, when I visited with my grandmother, the service was great, the staff are very friendly. The food was ok we were there during the transition from breakfast to lunch (by design) and the breakfast food had past its prime, but the lunch items were quite fresh.

A very nice buffet, food was fresh, hot, and in stock at around 6 PM when we visited. There was a nice variety of choices. The place was quite busy. Just an observation from people watching here- fill up on the salad bar first, then the whole food options(non-fried stuff). Your family, friends, doctor, and future self will thank you for it.

I was there today 12/4, and it was horrible, the silverware was dirty at the one table, the lettuce on the salad bar didnt look to good, the other food also, didnt look to good, tried the pork riblets, and the meat was all dried up. The whole place did not seem clean, perhaps a redo is in order for the decor ?

It was really crowded when we went so they are running off of food pretty fast. Upon waiting for more food to come out some things were not fully cooked such as the chicken and the mac and cheese was cold and the cheese want melted. The kitchen must have been in a rush since almost every table was full.
