We reserved this venue for lunch after our wedding rehearsal; my now-husband is Indian, so we thought it would be nice. When I was ordering my food the waiter asked what spice level I wanted and I said, "1, not spicy at all because I have acid reflux" and that was it. I get my food and its burning my throat, and then he decides to tell me all the chicken dishes cooked in the tandoori oven are pre-marinated and are medium (3) heat, and it would have taken 30 minutes to cook it fresh. I told him that would have been great to know before I ordered it, and I would have waited but now did not have time because we had ziplining reservations for my bachelorette party. So he brings me a menu and I ask about other food and he basically says everything is pre-marinated and spicy except chicken curry. I tell him I dont eat chicken curry and I just want seasoned chicken--nothing in a sauce, but he insists this will be fine. I get it, and it is chicken sitting in a thick sauce (aka curry) which I personally would not touch with a ten foot pole. So I ended up not eating anything all day on my bachelorette party until night time. Also, my wedding party agreed this place had some of the worst naan weve ever tasted. So overall, super disappointed and I have no idea how they have such a high rating on google.

Small Buffet but XL Flavor! I eat at Indian buffets all over the Mid-Atlantic and this one is special. Every dish has a unique flavor from sweet and subtle to savory and bold. Some buffets have a dozen or more entrees that taste similar, not so here. Im usually all about the meat but I found myself going back for the veggie selections. Whoever is cooking here knows their stuff and cares about what theyre doing. The naan is like angels wings, the lightest and most delicate Ive ever had. Friendly & helpful staff, reasonable price.

Theres not a ton of ethnic places in the area to begin with... So I was a little hesitant to try this one. But I am very pleasantly surprised! I got the lunch buffet so I could try a bunch of different things. The staples, chicken tikka naan, raita etc... Are on par with any Ive found in the city. And I would say this is some of the moistest tandoori chicken Ive ever had(and I prefer the white meat!) Ill definitely be back!

I quite like the food here! Personally, I like to come for their lunch buffet so that I can try a bunch of different things as opposed to ordering just one thing. Plus, its not too expensive for the buffet, whereas placing an order for dinner is a bit on the pricier side. Still, the food is hot, fresh, tasty, and full of lots of delicious spices and flavors.

While I enjoy the food, I cannot recommend based on the service. I am not accustomed to being upsold on alcohol or appetizers because "the kitchen is busy tonight". That was our response from the waiter after sitting for 10 minutes, then flagging him down. 18 people in a restaurant is not overly busy. My low rating is based on the annoyance of the staff.

One of the best Indian restaurants i have eaten. Buffets are awesome. Dont expect to find 50 varieties or so that frankly no one eats. Chicken mutton are so tender, some good authentic appetizers (loved the chole here) & an awesome bar that some classic indian touch to mock-tails. If u are bored of buds and coronas find kingfisher here.

There was a large group of us - all with different tolerances for spice. The food was outstanding.. samoosas, breads, salmon, prawns, chicken... Delicious! The lamb dishes were paricularly excellent. Everyone one of us vowed to eat there again.

Quite possibly the best Indian food in the southeastern PA, northern DE area. Well balanced, not overly pureed food with just the right amount of seasoning and a spice level by request. Also of note, everything tastes freshly house prepared.

The food was excellent. The kheer is delicious!!! Staff was friendly. We went during lunch buffet so it was really busy. $9.95 plus tax...cant beat it!!! You get to taste a little bit of almost everything on the menu.

Just finished eating here today 8/20/17. Food is good only place in this area that makes mild Indian food. Besides this place I fly to Miami for another Indian restaurant. Taste of Buds if in Miami stop here
