The food here is pretty good. Nothing to get too excited about, but solid. The queso blanco went over well with the whole family and they pour big margaritas! (but the lime green mix crap...weigh the pros and cons 4 yourself). My only complaint is that most of the meat is either shredded or ground (which I dont like) so I just order shrimp dishes to solve that issue. The salsa has a nice kick to it and the chips come warm and freshly made, so at the end of the day still a great place to go. Been here twice since I moved to town and I will definitely go back.

The food was bland. Burrito and enchilada tasted exactly alike. Salsa tasted like store bought and the same goes for the cheese dip. Service was horrible. Definitely will not be coming back. Id rather drive over a hour to Dothan to eat a La Parilla or Rodeos and get authentic Mexican food rather than a microwaved burrito

The food was good enough. The queso dip was good. I dont really have any complaints, but Ive had better. It wasnt anything special, but I only went once. Ill probably go a few more times before deciding if its worth it.

Good food, large portions, friendly staff. Have been going here for 20 years when it was the "La Parota." I have tried everything on the menu and everything is good. Highly recommended.

Monarcas is a quality Mexican restaurant, however their food is not quite as good as their bar. Hence Monarcas for Margs and Daquris not tacos and burritos
