I had a mediocre experience here before, the food was too spicy. My family was visiting, so we decided to go here again. I asked for my dish (butter chicken) about a 6/10 spicy-ness. It tasted like pure hot chili paste. The flavor was very flat (not complex heat), butter chicken is not suppose to be a spicy dish, but i wanted a little kick. It was un-edible. The kind waiter requested that the chef fix it, I think they just added yoghurt. "Taj Mahal" down Naamans road has much better food, any option would be better than here. Never returning. PS The rest of my familys meals were a mixed bag, even though they had asked for it not spicy (around a 3/10 spicyness.) My family thought they were laughing at us not being able to tolerate the insane pure heat.

My Wife and I have been going here for many years and it is by far the best Indian we have ever had, certainly the best Indian food in the area. We love Indian food and have tried many different restaurants in many different places and I can honestly say this is the best we have ever had. Our favorites are the tikka masala and the vindaloo but there are so many other dishes we love as well. I love the lamb and my wife loves the chicken. The sauces and spices are amazing and the meat behind the sauces are flavorful and cooked perfectly on their own. Great attention to detail on the food. Its the kind of place where we eat until we are full and we immediately get excited thinking about when we are going to eat the left overs.

Stopped in for the lunch buffet on Christmas Eve. Lots of options in the buffet although we missed chicken tikka masala and everything was mild (probably to serve people who cant handle spice). A lovely experience because the staff were so personable and friendly! I was especially impressed with their accommodation of a family that was there when we were. Their group had several small children and the staff seemed to go out of their way to make things run as smoothly as possible for the parents. Good to know that kids and babies are welcome there. All in all, the food was tasty but it was really the nice staff that made our visit enjoyable!

Though weve been here for the lunch buffet a few times, last Wed both I and my baby daughter contracted food poisoning from it which led to about 24-30 hours of nausea, severe cramps and diarrhea. It was the only meal wed shared in a day or two so the source was obvious and the symptoms hit us within minutes of each other. My wife, a physician, concurred with the diagnosis. Suffice it to say, we wont be returning and would recommend that you avoid it too for obvious reasons.

Hands down the Best tasting and most enjoyable variety of colorful and traditional Indian food I have ever experienced. I had been doing a project for work down the street when I decided to give this place a shot for lunch. I have been back 9 times since and cant get enough. Keep up the great work. Maybe smile a little more to strangers, you definitely have a recipe here for success !!

Order take out from here at least once a week. Friendly service, not usually too long of a wait for take out during normal times, however you may have to wait a little extra if its during peak dinner hours. The food is fresh, well seasoned and the kashmiri naan is to die for! I would have to say this is one of my all time favorite Indian joints in the Philly area.

I have very bad experience with India Grille. In Lunch Buffet - they will not refill the food once it is over even though you ask them to refill. They play this game. This happened many times with me. My friends had the same experience(India Grille never refill the food once it is over). You just wait and wait and wait - finally pay the cheque and come out.

The food was horrible and overpriced. I paid $18 for a Maharani thali and the ingredients in it were worth not even $5. The desert "Gulaab Jamun" was cold from the inside. No wonder I was the only one in the restaurant for dinner...hehehe! Just stay away folks, horrible place !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I currently live in Tennessee but this used to be my home town. No matter where I go, this place beats all the other South Indian places I eat at. Everytime Im at a different restaurant I want to cry because Im not here. Great variety, tastes even better than last time. Keep it up!

If you think its Indian food you are being fooled. Its not AUTHENTIC , I dont know which part of India uses cauliflower in their Biryani and more over every dish tastes the same. If you really want to taste Indian food keep driving North. I warned you.

I was here for a friends anniversary celebration. The place was congested though the food experience was very good. The food reflected true Indian flavors and taste. Heard its also a very popular Indian joint in the neighborhood. Indian music were playing.

I have been there couple of times last month and this month while I was staying at Days Inn. Food was kind of okay, I wont say the fantastic. Wait time is killer :@ ... its always 45 min-1 hour ... even though there is noone in the restaurant.

Non-descript from the outside, frigid air conditioning within; but was surprised by the really excellent & truly authentic (i.e. hot IS hot) food, far better than I expected. Very friendly, quick service with classically large portions.

At least once a week for the past two years I have been here for the lunch buffet. There are not enough adjectives to state how wonderful the food is. If you have not been there, do yourself a favor and give it a visit.

We had exceptional service when we went and the food was great. Try the soups, they are inexpensive and delicious. Chicken Tikka Masala is a must as well. Split and entree because they give you very large portions.

I ordered malai kofta and it was the worst I ever had. They had put old menu outside the door which had old prices. They ignored it when I mentioned it to them. I will never order anything.

This place is SOOOO tasty. Dont forget to get yourself a vegetable samosa. I also really appreciate the sliding scale of how hot your food can be. And yes, the hot is hot.

Some of the food was cold during buffet hours. Some trays were empty and was not refilled. There was broken furniture Other than those minor issues the food was satisfying

I found the food very tasty and the waiter and waitresses were friendly and efficient. I enjoyed the ambience and the decor of the place. You should try the sheesh kababs.

If it was between living out the rest of the eternity in a paradise with 72 virgins or the lunch buffet at Indian Grille, I recommend starting with the tandoori chicken.
