Very good food. One of my best Indian food experiences ever, and ive been to too many restaurants to count, all over America and in India! Had the Sunday buffet. Chai, mango lassi, garlic naan, and puri were all included in addition to the terrific variety of veg and non veg dishes. Several appetizers and desserts. At buffets, I usually take a taste of everything first and return to the buffet to get the one dish that I like the best, but at this place, I had to take another taste of everything on the second trip because every dish was so good. I usually dont like okra, but even their okra was perfectly yummy. Thanks for the great food. I will be back often!

The place appears clean. but our dishes were dirty with food stuck on them. My glass has something driead to it and when i asked for a replacement the waiter scraped off with his thumbnail and tried to give it back to me. athen when i insisted i wanted a new clean glass. I later had to argue over the check because he charged me for a second drink to replace the filthy one he served me. The food was sloppy and old, seemed it had been sitting out for awhile and really had very little flavor at all. Horrible experience very rude staff. and not very sanitary at all.

The service is great, the owners are very friendly. The food is EXCELLENT!! If you dont like this place, you probably just dont like Indian food. I have eaten some great Indian food in California, where food is always amazing, and this is right on par. They have a good variety of meat and vegetarian options on both the regular menu and during the lunch buffet. The only thing Id be careful of is spice factor. The "spicy" option, which is usually not that spicy when I ask at restaurants, is SPICY!

Seriously, I didnt expect such an authentic taste when I decided to try it for lunch other day. Usually, we have lots of options for indian food in NY-NJ area so when we are out on a trip its very difficult to find a good indian place with real taste, rich menu and not overly budget. The menu selection is great, food not only look but taste real fresh. Service was prompt and they know about their dishes. I would definitely go there whenever Im in Dover or going to passing by.

We used to go to FOI all the time. The food seemed tasty enough. The last time we went my wife had a a funny look on her face and when I asked she said I dont want to know. After we left she said the hoster was cleaning up the buffet and some rice was sitting on the edge of the table the buffet was on. He scooped the rice in his hand and threw it back in with the rest of the rice :| Im fairly certain a lot of these 5 star ratings are fake. We havent been back since.

Our family drives 30 minutes to FOI once a month for a lunch buffet. Great flavors, lots of choices - everything you could ask for - plus fresh naan, chai, mango juice, and desserts. For $10, its a fantastic value. We see regulars every time we go, people come equally for the buffet and to order off the menu, and plenty of people come in for takeout. What their location/atmosphere lacks, they certainly make up in value and satisfaction!

Always good good. I go to Delaware State U little down the road and me and my friend go there maybe once a month to treat ourselves. The dinning hall food can be so blah and going there just makes us feel better. We need good food like this to keep us sane with all the stress from school. The ppl that work there are very nice and I like that they arent all up in our faces. Prices are good for all the food that you get. Overall great place.

This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Dover. The buffet is a great deal but also we go there on any given night and order right off the menu. When you compare their food to any other Indian restaurant within 100 miles, they come out on top. We have eaten there close to 50 times, and there has never been a disappointing meal. Chicken Tika Masala is my favorite. But everything Ive tried has been great.

We LOVE this Indian Restaurant. The food is delicious and comes out rather quick. Enjoy poppadom while you wait. Service is fast, dining area is clean. We just wish more people went there. Im so afraid theyll close like all the other ethnic restaurants have, Thai, Japanese. Its really sad to see people flocking to the same old Applebees type restaurants all the time. This restaurant rocks!

We love to eat here. Ive had better Indian in other states but this is the BEST you will get here. I like the buffet and the tea is wonderful. They are very nice but short staffed. Patience and kindness from you the customer goes a long way. A dining experience not for needy people. They allow you an intimate dining experience. Take out it great as well!

Wonderful restaurant with the best Indian food and the best service. The people who gave bad comments about the food and the waiters/cashiers have some agenda, since it is totally not true. Such comments are probably posted by competitors. Our family have been going to Flavor of India for years, and still cant get enough of this great place!

They had a lot of DELAWARES BEST awards posted on their walls but I felt it was okay. The waiter was kind of zombie and was totally CLUELESS about their menu, we asked for Malai Kofta and Navratan Korma and he was like how much spicy.. ? Sir these are supposed to be sweet preparations and not spicy like kadhai paneer. VERY POOR SERVICE. ..

Love this place! Ive eaten Indian all over the US, and this place is one of the best. We usually go for the lunch buffet, and the variety never disappoints. We also do larger family gatherings there every so often and always find something for ever palate - even the toddlers! And Tony always takes good care of you. Try the Mango Lassi!

Great food at great prices! We tried this restaurant on our way back home from Virginia to NJ. The buffet had a variety of items. My favorite items were chilly chicken, cholle bature (chick peas), dahi vada, mutter paneer, chat etc. If you like, authentic north indian cuisine; this restaurant will not disappoint you.

Very good buffet, with a separate section that is vegetarian so, if you are one, you dont have to worry about mixing. Great flavors. Service isnt the best, but thats not why we go there and its not super expensive so were not really paying for great service. Excellent food, especially at such an affordable price.

Small, quiet, glass front with no view on a very accessible but shoddy part of town. Why 5 stars? Its some of the best, most genuine Tandoori youll find in a 100 mile radius. Get a half tray to go and youre set for the week! There isnt a lot of quality restaurants in Dover, but this one of the few.

Building exterior is bad, attached to a Super 8, but the inside is clean, sanitary and the food is excellent. The dinner Buffet was especially prices lower then expected. Food was great with a good selection. Service was quick and bottled beer is priced fair. $3.75 for a Dogfish Head!
