My family and I love Cheeburger Cheeburger and regularly visit their Annapolis and Columbia, MD locations. So, when planning a family trip to the Crayola Experience, we were excited that Cheeburger was just one block away. And we planned that as our dinner destination. After a long day and an overly packed Crayola Experience, we were excited for a good dinner, as we were starving! We arrived to a mostly empty restaurant with only one other family there, also from Crayola. Even though it was empty, we had to wait five minutes before being acknowledged and taken to a table. When they acknowledged us, the first thing they said is that we can only pay cash as their credit card machine is down. Bad sign one. We are seated and given menus, unfortunately it took almost 15 minutes for our order to be taken, still only one other table there. We are frustrated at this point, but tired and hungry, so we stay. Bad sign two. Kids point out that their menus, with coloring pages have no crayons included. We ask for crayons and are told they dont give them out because of germs. Even though they are located a block from CRAYOLA! Most of their customers come from CRAYOLA. And, the vast majority of restaurants (including other Cheeburgers) give you a small box of four crayons to keep! Bad sign three. My wife and I order waters, burgers, fries and the kids get kids meals with fries and one grilled cheese and one hot dog, both wanted apple juice. We ask for the kid meals as soon as possible. After five minutes of waiting for drinks, as I am going to the restroom, I heard them say they are out of apple juice. Bad signs three and four. When I return from the restroom my wife informs me they were informed and kids gladly switched to lemonade. and it was then brought quickly. Improvement! We waited what seemed like a long time for food, I had stopped checking my watch at this point, at we were frustrated, tired and hungry. Then the kids meals and adult meals arrive at the same time. The kids fries look pretty bad, taste as bad as they look. Kids dont eat them. Grilled cheese looks nice on top, half grilled on bottom. Our burgers come in cardboard boxes youd get at a cafeteria, barely large enough to hold the burger. We know Cheeburger puts them in nice large baskets, at least in Maryland. Also no olive on top like they do (not that we cared). The buns were the same size, even though my wife and I got different size burgers, making my larger burger hard to pick up since the meat was hanging way off on both sides. We are told that the medium order of fries for adults will be out in a minute. It took a lot longer than that, I finished my burger and my wife had finished 3/4 of hers by the time they arrived. The fries were nice and hot, crispy and well seasoned with Old Bay (as requested). The burgers were well cooked, and juicy, but could have used more seasoning. We got refills on adult drinks quickly and we were quite happy about that. They were also quick to bring the bill. I paid with a $100 asked for $57 back on a $36 bill. Waiter brought back $65 in change, explaining they had no ones. Neither did I, so I gave him back $5 and apologized for the small tip. As I assume it was not the waiters fault, but managements. Clearly, Cheeburger needs to get this place fixed. Had this been my first experience at one of their restaurants, Id be done with the chain. I am certainty done with the location. They also need to get crayons ASAP. Its crazy that they dont have them when they know a large portion of their customer base is coming from or going to Crayola, excited about coloring and their kids menu is a coloring page! It just goes to show how poor the management is. Bottom line, unless you really want a burger, go elsewhere. Have kids, bring your own crayons!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If google would let me rate "0" stars...I would! I am NOT the type of person to write a review...in fact this is my very first one EVER! So you know that my experience had to be THAT BAD in order for me to take time out of my work day to write this. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE COMMENT! Where do I begin...this past Monday I decided to take my girls to Crayola (awesome experience btw!) and after, we walked over to Cheeburger to eat lunch. Having been here before, I knew that the service time would be slow, but what I experienced BLEW my mind! When we first sat down it took 10 mins for someone to come over - kept my cool - then it took 45 mins for 1 burger, 1 chicken sand and two kids meas - again kept my cool. After we were done eating, it took ANOTHER 15 mins to get my check - again kept my cool. The manager came over and apologized and said her credit card machine was down and she had to call it in - again kept my cool and waited patiently. All the while my two little ones (8 & 6) were becoming very impatient (and who wouldnt!) but I kept them calm and entertained them. Finally after another 10 mins waiting for the manager to call in my card...I said forget it and told her I would just go to the ATM next door. I gathered our things and my three girls (15, 8 & 6) and proceeded to go RIGHT NEXT DOOR to the ATM. As I was leaving another manager stopped me and said that one of us had to stay here while I go to the bank. I politely asked him why and he stated "to make sure you return"...I DID NOT KEEP MY COOL. I told him "You made me wait ALL this time because of something out of MY control and now I have to leave my kids here, so you KNOW I will come back?" I was VERY insulted...he said that if I left it was technically stealing and he would have to CALL THE COPS on me!!! ME! a 37 year old mother of 3...and my husband IS a COP!! How ironic!! I was livid!! I kept my 15 year old there with the little ones and proceeded to the ATM. Now some of you might think that the 15 year old would be OK by herself waiting in the restaurant, and your right...but that was NOT the point..the point was that after all the waiting and frustration, the RIGHT thing to do is to let me go to the ATM with my kids and come back... When I returned the other manager tried apologizing and when I told her what the other manager said and how it made me feel like a criminal...her face looked like she was mortified...and it should have been! She tried to apologize and offer me free things...but at that point I just wanted my change and to get the heck out of there...they already embarrassed me enough in front of other customers and my children, so there was NOTHING she could have said or done to make it better. I will NEVER step foot in this restaurant or ANY Cheeburger!!

We loved this place the last time we were there. Fun atmosphere, decent food, good milkshakes. The kids were begging to go again, so we did. The place was mostly empty on a holiday weekend (this should have been a sign). The person who sat us took a long time to actually come to the front of the restaurant and greet us. A few minutes after being seated, she came back and told us that the soda machine doesnt work, so its only water or unsweetened iced tea. Also, the card machine doesnt work, so it will have to be cash only. Finally, they were out of milk, so no milkshakes. We decided to stay and just have our burgers that we were looking forward to. Our table had not been wiped down prior to being seated, so we did it ourselves. Remember, the place was pretty empty, so Im not sure why they wouldnt just seat us a better table. My burger was good, it came out as I had ordered it. Medium with the proper toppings. My wife and daughter also were satisfied with their meals. However, my son ordered a grilled cheese but got a burger instead. They wanted to correct it and took it back. It then took another 15 minutes for his grilled cheese to come out. Which was cold. At some point, they must have found some milk laying around, because right before we left someone had a milkshake in their hands. Some of the staff seemed engaged, but most of the other workers were just milling around looking annoyed to be there. Sad to say, but this place will not receive any of our business ever again. I will be very surprised to see them still open within a year. Stay away. Easton has really come alive with restaurants and things to do, look elsewhere.
