If you want simple, quick, cheap American burgers made to order with fresh ingredients and are tired of the inconsistencies and lack of passion of generic burger chains look no further than PRIME. Not only are they local but also use USDA approved grass-fed beef and chicken with vegetarian options as well. My personal favorite is a heaping double burger with bacon, cheddar, pickled jalapenos and the signature Prime sauce. They also offer month-to-month items like tater tots, ever-changing creative milkshake flavors, glazed boneless chicken and much more, so the menu always has something new to offer. Be sure to try some new seasonal beers on their bottle menu. The prices are definitely worth the freshness and convenience of a build-to-order menu, so dont let that deter you from enjoying something different than your go-to fast food joint. Do not pass this place up.

So I didnt know what to expect. This place has a modern chain feel. Like a Chipotle. I wasnt sure what that would result in for a burger place. But I love this place. The burgers are delicious, albeit small. So dont make my mistake, ordering a single. Go for the double. Their ingredients are clearly proven fresh with every bite. Pickles are crisp and each ingredient can be tasted when you bite. The bacon is amazing. The buns are toasted and they have a good house sauce, both which add to this place. The fries are a solid good. What you might expect from a Crab Shak or something like that. Their beer selection is good, but its all in cans. Lastly, the price. Could be cheaper for sure. But the flavor makes up for it. The service is personal and friendly. I definitely will be coming back, and looking for somewhere like this back home.

I rarely ate a burger I didnt like. Then, the is PRIME. I liked the taste, but the presentation, plating, and THE BUN was a disappointment. I had a double, cooked medium. Toppings: everything, except bacon, diced onions (paid extra for them grilled). Cheese fries on the side and an "Arnold Palmer". This is the same time I had them for multiple locations. I tried to support a college crew. I tried. And it failed. Miserably.

The food is expensive and the portions are small. Meal tasted horrible and took about 15 minutes to give me a "handful" of fries and a small shake that was warm and melted. Should not have to pay over $8 for next to nothing, amazed this place gets any business.

Great atmosphere and beer selection for a small joint in the heart of Rowan. Low quality and over priced, frozen veggie burgers, though. Got to give them credit for trying, but this is definitely a last resort for vegans and vegetarians.
