i ma city type of foodie. I go to Baltimore, Philly and DC a ton, but due to my parents now living in allentown, once in awhile I go there. I surprised my mom with a visit this weekend since I was in Philly for work and decided Id come see them. She took me here. The pizza and bread doughs are both just delicious. Completely delicious. Light fluffy and doughy. The sauce was sweet and seasoned but not overly disgustingly sweet like papa johns.. and also retains some other flavors of herbs like basil and oregano. I had pizza from here three days in a row, and the pizza holds up as very good for the price. 7 bucks for a 12" cheese with QUALITY dough. Now, its no Lazzaros in Philly, but it holds up as very good Philly style pizza in the vein of Lazzaros/Lorenzos/etc just much smaller. With this and Tom Cat in the area, I actually enjoy eating up here now... and I usually hate big looking Italian restaurants like this. I worked at Olive Garden and Maggianos throughout high school and college.. so I know your mid-range Italian pretty well.its by far better than Olive Garden and Maggianos . But hey, if you go to Olive Garden for Soup Salade and Breadsticks.. keep going. But if youre going for anything with meat or pasta, go here versus Olive Garden. Prices are reasonable, same as Olive Garden, youll get bigger amount for less the price.

Just went there for the third time... very good food w/ very reasonable prices. I dont know why there are such bad reviews... some just seem down right bitter or exagerated. Weve driven by it on Rt 100 many many times. We finally tried it because they sent out coupons and a neighbor/friends mentioned it was a good place to eat. You might not like a few of the items but overall it is very good. We had veal parm and some sort of seafood and pasta dish - generous portions (only my lobster was a little overcooked...but the scallops, clams, mussels, shrimp, etc were good). Ive had the fried calamra twice - not flash fried like at gourmet restaurants and a little salty...but very good. Good enough that Ive ordered it twice. Friends had steak and a tai inspired shrimp soup and both liked it very much. My Honey had a personal pizza and a tomato bacon potato soup - very good. Kids under 12 eat free every day i think...and the portions are once again very generous.

It was pretty dead when me and my friend went there and it smelled great. We went there between 3-5 to get the 20% off that they offered making the prices somewhat reasonable. We started with the soup and found a bolt in the bottom of one of the bowls that we were eating, which turned us off of finishing the food we ordered. We showed the server and she apologized and told us that she would be giving us an additional percentage off of our meals, but in turn just gave us the 20% that we were already getting already, so really they did nothing. Nothing was done about the bolt, so if this is how they treat their customers who find a problem this is not the place for me. But the food was ok before we found the bolt.

Ive been to Florence several times now and this is my new favorite place! Every dish weve tried was excellent and plentiful, from start to finish. The service was wonderful and accommodating, from attentively providing warm bread and olive oil upon ordering to decorating the dessert plate and making sure we always had a full drink. The menu is extensive and diverse and the appetizer and dinner specials are always unique and tasty. If you are looking for a new favorite place to bring your family, friends, date, or just yourself...you must try Florence Bar & Grille!

I can here once while I was on a trip with some other people. The restaurant was not even busy. It took approximately 20 minutes for my beer to come out while everybody else in the group already had got their food, followed by another 45 minutes for my burger to come out. When I had actually gotten the burger, it wasnt even hot, and everyone had already finished eating their meals. The waitress never checked up on us to see how anything was, and the two members of the group who ordered the eggplant parmesan ended up with food poisoning that night.

Terrible experience, first time there and will not return. Our server was extremely slow, and took her time giving our orders to the chefs while talking to friends. It took two hours in order to only have a meal, with no desserts or appetizers. The food was okay, but nothing special, and overpriced for the quality. For a party of four all of our food came out ten minutes apart, so we didnt even eat together. Would not reccommend, save your money and go to Olive Garden if you want Italian.

Our server essentially ignored us. Food was slow, they had to make more tartar sauce for us (on a Friday in Lent), drinks were not refilled, and we could not find our server to ask for a check. We calculated the bill ($10 lunch specials each), left the money plus tax and tip on the table, and reported our experience to the owner. He asked us what do for us and to give them a second chance. His statement is why I am giving two stars rather than one.

Got here alittle before 10pm on a Saturday night. Door says service food till 11. This place was dead man maybe 3 people! We sat asked for menus and drinks, some lady walks up to remind the bar tender that the kitchen was closed. We reminded them both the door says its open to 11. We thanked them and just left. Ended up at Applebees smdh this town sucks to eat out and drink late! Going back to jersey!!!

My new favorite restaurant! The salad bar is amazing-salad, soup, and pasta in one bar! I even liked the music-it was soft rock. The waitress was pleasant and the food servings are huge! The bread was kind of blah, but they served it with garlic and oil, so that made up for it. For the amount of food, the prices were fair. I highly recommend this place.

Great food. Everything is made from scratch. Its all very yummy!! The salad bar is amazing and always fresh. Best Italian family Resturant in the area. The pizzas are perfection. We take friends and family from out of town here all of the time. The staff is always professional and friendly and great at getting refills before you realize its needed. Petfection

I ordered the calamari. It was very bland, with a hint of fish taste. Marinara sauce was very watery, and no lemon wedges . It consisted of rings and tentacles , I do appreciate that. Seems like restaurants are moving away from the tentacles. Ordered a class of white wine is was larger then most but had a head ache before I left. Will not return.

Very very disappointing! They claim to have the best and freshest salad bar in the valley. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! 2 OF THE 3 soups were empty and the one that was there was not good. Everything we tried was bland and ordinary. Drinks were atrocious!! They screwed up all the martinis. Many many many better places to eat. Stay away!!!
