We went here on Valentines Day for dinner. It was our first time trying this new restaurant after waiting for more than a year for it to open. The beer is excellent but the menu is limited and I finally decided on chicken pot pie, not because I really wanted that but did not like anything else on the very unusual menu. I must say that it was very good but not really what I was in the mood for. The dessert was good but not great. One thing that my husband and I thought was odd: when I looked online to see the hours they are open I noticed that it said children are welcome. As families came in with smaller children, my husband and I could not figure out what these parents could possibly order for their kids. There was absolutely nothing on the menu for children. No chicken fingers or Mac & cheese. As we were leaving, a family who just sat down got up and left. The parents must have realized quickly that there was nothing on the menu their kids would eat. The waiter told us that the menu was seasonal and changed every few months but my husband read in the local newspaper that the chef noted that the menu changed every couple of weeks. We are not sure which is true. If its every couple of weeks we would return sooner rather than later. Maybe next time there will be something for me to eat that isnt chicken pot pie.

If you are looking for one of the 3 major "light" beers, Fork & Ale is not for you. If you are looking for cheap, greasy bar food, Fork & Ale is not for you. If you are looking for a great selection of bottle & draft craft beers, Fork & Ale is for you. If you are looking for an upscale menu with delicious hand made food, Fork & Ale is for you. Fork & Ale is the polar opposite of the previous establishment. Our meals, beers & service were great and we look forward to returning.

Everything was delicious, well-portioned, and well-priced. There was a unique variety of foods, yet the menu was still pretty tight. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The the decor and settings were modern, which lent itself to the overall atmosphere F&A seems to be aiming at. Minimalist with metal, wood, and industrial-style lighting. Seems to be a good place for drinks with friends or a first date. Great experience. The pot pie was fantastic.

Decor was nice. Beer selection was adequate (though not properly chilled) . Food was a bit over priced (or under sized). Menu selection seemed a bit pretentious (as many gastropubs tend to be). I enjoyed the atmosphere and food, but was lacking something that may come as the place ages and changes are made. I look forward to coming back in 6 months.

Loved the environment, chic but comfortable. Staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the beer and food. The food was great INLOVE WITH THE PRETZELS. What i especially love is that they make everything home make and prepared in house. Definitely will be back

Weak menu, not a full service bar. Place was out of salsa and chips and a few other items on their already limited menu choices. Decor was nice though :-/
