I am a sushi connoisseur and let me tell you that this place is up with the best of them. The volcano roll is legendary and it is impossible not to like the Georgia heat roll. The same two guys have been making the sushi for decades and this place is just about as authentic as it can get when it comes to sushi. Pretty much every place that I go to I have to compare it to this one and its almost never even a comparison. if you ever find yourself in the Pinecrest area craving sushi do not hesitate to find this little tiny hole in the wall right off of 124th St. and US1. order a volcano roll a Larry roll and a Georgia heat roll along with the miso soup and I promise youll be going back for more...

Get take out!!! Also a victim of ridiculously poor service. Just so happen to come on a Friday night when a lot of people ordered take out. After being told it would be only 5, we waited 15 to get sat, Im sure its difficult to tell when a place with only 8 tables will have a free table. But whats worse is we waited over 50, watching ToGo orders being filled and picked up while we waited for our rolls. Had to ask for water and more sake from the staff after they mange to somehow avoid our table in that time despite the whole place being about 150 sq feet. Lesson learned: Get take out!!!

Decade after decade, the fish has always been very fresh and delicious. The menu offers a great variety, with great combinations but does not go overboard with options. Green tea is fantastic. The octopus sunomono is the best I have tried in all of my travels. The tempura ice cream is simply brilliant. Great miso soup. The restaurant is tiny and does a lot of take-out. They play nice Japanese music. I am one of a boatload of very loyal customers for a good reason.....

Sakura offers Japanese style food. I order mostly Sushi there. Their food leaves much to be desired and their prices are reasonable but nothing to write home about. If you need a quick-Sushi-Fix, they can supply the goods but dont expect much in terms of quality. Ill go there again but I wouldnt recommend it for quality Sushi.

Its been difficult to find a place that serves authentic sushi ever since relocating to Miami 8 years ago, and this place finally hits pretty close to my standards. The rolls are your standard price, the fish is fresh, just dont get too carried away ordering roll after roll, or you may end up spending a lot, lol.

Weve ordered from here quite a number of times, and for the most part it has been pretty darn fresh and tasty. I didnt give the place five stars because they charge $2.50 for kimchee sauce, and I think that its ridiculous when I am already paying $18 for sushi one.

Best sushi in Miami, and the smallest one. No pre-cut fish here, every dish is taken seriously and done right every time. Every plate is put together with meticulous care, like a food painting. You need to sit in the sushi bar to really appreciate it.

This is my favorite sushi place. I always get the Georgia Heat or a plain Shrimp Tempura Roll. Service is sometimes slow but its so worth it for the food! I recommend eating sushi rather than the hot meals because it is their specialty.

Restaurant is too small and the service is less than adequate. Food is okay, but nothing to feel great about. This is why I will not go again. Definitely not recommended.

We have been going here for a long time as a family and they are still by far one of the best sushi places in Miami. Simple, fresh, and delicious!

Being in the seafood business and importing get fresh tuna. Sakura has fresh sushi and great food. Nobody in the area has better quality sushi.

Great local Japanese restaurant. Very small and quaint. Reminds me of the Izakayas in Tokyo. Highly Recommend!
