OMG....I will never go back to this Red Lobster again!!! (IN STROUDSBURG ON 611) I went twice both were terrible and the second time I ended up in ER......I shouldve known better. The first visit was with friends and the food took a while and when it did arrive it was semi warm. If that wasnt bad enough the waitress spilled water all over my friend. When the manager was called over after my friend had to air dry she stated....Wow, its a good thing it wa s ONLY water......is there anything else I can get for you? ( while she was chuckling). I also must add that every other table was complaining as well. One table recieved the wrong meal..which they were compensated for and another table recieved a meal which tasted spoiled. All I kept seeing, hearing the manager do was apologize.... "Im so sorry, so, So Sorry.. Heck..Im SO SORRY WE EVER WENT!!!! Then my second visit was a B-day request. 2/12/2010.....THE EVENING SHIFT @ 9:00pm (a week later) Yes, I decided along with my husband to please my son and take him to Red Lobster as requested. I was tired and didnt feel like the drive to the RED LOBSTER IN LEDGEWOOD ( a wonderful place), so we went to the nightmare place again. To make a long story short.... The meals came, which took forever.. ( 5 mins after the salad had arrived), so we were still eating the salads. They gave us 3 rolls , when we requested more they stated, they will be brought out with our meals), the waitress kept forgetting things, we asked for steak sauce, she forgot when returning, we also asked for utensils since there werent enough place settings and she forgot when she returned!!! She kept saying awww, thats right.... Im so sorry.. When my food arrive the Grilled shrimp, was burnt and the rice was cold. Still I tried to save the evening because it was a celebration of my sons B-Day. I asked for a drink (Strawberry Pina Colada) and when it arrived upon giving us the straws (which she was about to walk away with , she dropped them.... She said once again.."IM SO SORRY".... which she proceeded to go get new ones but since they were in plastic and fear of her never returning I said please , we will take those. After 15 mins and my sons dessert.. I proceeded to suck up something out my drink which wasnt melting in my mouth...I looked and it was GLASS....Thats when I asked for the waitress and she explained everything to the manager,(within hearing distance) The manager approaches and says yes, can I help you with anything.?..with a smile.( after knowing what has happened). I then showed her the broken glass I was drinking from and the piece that I sucked up and wondered where the remaining piece was ( Possibly in my drink)??? and she states.."Wow....its a good thing you caught it... can I get you another drink?????? She then proceeded to ask me questions as if I had broken the glass....UGGGGGH, WHERE DID SHE GET HER TRAINING! Let me just state for the record.. I love Red Lobster restaurants and have frequently visited the Ledgewood ,Allentown , and Jersey locations as well and NEVER, I repeat NEVER has a restaurant MANAGER been so RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL when dealing with customers. This restaurant may be closer than the others but,I will drive miles to avoid the EMERGENCY ROOM.

This red lobster in stroudsburg pa was the worst red lobster I ever been to. I attended it with my family, just resently and it was terrible. First we were going to call to make a reservation(which you can usually do at most red lobsters) But guess what! This one had no reservations, you just go in and wait. The wait was 2 hours and tottally not worth it. Anyway we waited in the car, after it was ready, we went in. We got the worst seats in the house, a table infront of the waiting room. There were random people standing around, and other people that were finished with their meal just sitting in their booths not moving. It was quite annoying, Anyway we ordered, we didnt get any water first like most red lobsters do, our waitress was probably deaf or just plain dumb. The salads took too long to prepare. I asked for french dressing and she brought me ranch. Afterwards they brought out the water(finally). So we all ordered our food, got it and started eating! It was disgusting! 3 of my other family members ordered piña coladas and so did I. It was definitely not pina colada! The drink was milky and sugary, it had no pineapple or coconut flavor at all! Gross! The shrimp was super greasy, the broccoli had nasty oil, the rice pilaf was watery, the lobster was undercooked, everything was just plain bad.Plus it gets worst! After I finished eating , I started to feel very nauseous, and next thing you know I was puking in the bathroom. I ran as quick as I could, and vomited my lungs out! I know it must have been my stomach reacting to bad food! I never threw up eating red lobster before, the food here was terrible! Everyone else didnt enjoy their meal either. Worst red lobster ever. People of the poconos, if you want to go to a good, red lobster with people that know what they are doing, please go to the one in Allentown, Pa! That one is the best and closest. Never had a bad experience in allentown.

I have been to this restaurant three times now. The first time was excellent, we had an extremely attentive waitress who was friendly, chatted with us about the area as we were only there on business, and even gave us a bag of biscuits and drinks to take back to the hotel. It was near the time of closing, and we were hurrying to get out of there, and she told us not to rush. The foot was great, it was the all you can eat shrimp, I dont remember the exact details, but every plate was consistent and delicious. The second time the food was also great, our waitress was not as friendly, but nothing was missed. Drinks were always filled, she remembered to bring us extra napkins, and had a smile. The third time, the food was still decent, but I do not recommend the shrimp and scallop Alfredo, there was barely any alfredo sauce on it, it completely masked what little flavor there was from the seafood, and the shrimps are those cheap tiny salad shrimps that just dont add a lot. However, the ultimate meal thing was really good, with the shrimp, lobster, and crab legs. However, this third time, our server left a lot to be desired. He consistently forgot to bring us stuff, starting off with our silverware. We had to ask for that twice; meanwhile, salads are sitting on the table uneaten. We had to ask for extra napkins, my dad went 15 minutes with an empty glass of water, his only drink, and we had to ask twice for that, as well. He didnt seem to care very much and was a little snide, never once apologizing for the slow service. Therefore, I will say that the food is consistent, but you have to watch what server you get at this Red Lobster. I would still highly recommend it.
