It was just OK for us. We expected better, considering the reviews we read prior to our going here. It was a nice atmosphere inside and the place was clean, but the food was definitely lacking. Aside from waiting a long time for just a fried chicken basket with fries and a plate of quesadillas (when we were the only table eating), it just wasnt that good! I make quesadillas at home and mine would blow Renegades away! Generally when you go out to eat, you expect better or equal to what you can cook yourself (if youre a good cook). My husband stated his food was just "eh" . The chicken was lacking flavor and the portion of fries he received was just sad. My chicken quesadillas were only 3/4 filled so the ends (about ONE and a 1/2 inches of it) literally had nothing! Although the portion was large, especially for quesadillas, I would have preferred less of them on my plate and would have elected to have the entire quesadilla be filled properly! They could have given less of them, then filled them completely and added fries to the dish, instead. Also, they were soggy! Didnt look to me as if they were grilled, pan fried, or even placed under a broiler, because there was no color to them, so im not sure which technique the chef used to prepare and heat them. there were No grill marks, no pan fry or even broiler toasted marks were on them! They were just soggy and plain white

A few buddies and me stopped into renegades for some grub and a few drinks. The bar was busy, so we grabbed a table - I walked up to the bar to let the bartender know we were there and she gave us some menus. 20 mins later no acknowledgement from the staff so we left. The waitress was able to see us and the owner was sitting at the bar as well.

Great for what it is! Very casual environment with all the classic bar games, steel tipped darts and a shuffleboard table are worthy of a quick but of fun with a date or a friend. Live music and good cheap drinks, bar food... Good time for a good dive bar
