We visited this restaurant last weekend for my 30th birthday while staying at the Woodloch resort nearby. The restaurant had come highly recommended. We called a few days in advance for our party of 12 and were told that the restaurant didnt take reservations but that we should call back on the day of to remind them we were coming in. I did that about 2 hours before we were planning to go and the woman at the front basically chewed me out for even calling. My husband called back and spoke to the manager about the conversation I had and the manager was very apologetic. Ultimately we had a very good meal and our waitress was very nice, but one of the people in our party was walking out of the bathroom and overheard the woman at the front speaking negatively about our group despite the fact that we were nothing but friendly when we walked through the door. That felt a bit like a slap in the face. The food was good, but Im not sure if it was worth it given the attitude we got.

Very busy place. Lawn games outside, for the kids/young at heart. Tasty food and nice selection, but pricey. Was there with a family group. I got the flat iron steak, my husband got the ny strip. His was $10 more, but when we compared steaks, they were the same cut of steak. Others in our party got risotto that was underdone (the rice was slightly crunchy). We think, due to the crowds, the meal prep may have been rushed. Server was a bit brusque (spilt a bit of our beer and sauce from a dish by landing the dishes hard on the table). Could have been a great meal, but given the prices, ended up being a disappointment.

Very welcoming and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and free from debris. Tables and seats clean and not sticky. My waitress Colleen was ocomidating and met all of my needs. I ordered the Braised Boneless Short Ribs. It came with a fresh house salad, risotto and a steamed vegetable. I substituted the risotto with a bake mashed potato. The meat was tender and could be cut with a butter knife. Lots of flavor. Nice size portions (I ate half and took the rest home.) It will make a nice sandwich for tomorrows lunch. YUMMY!

Terrible service. VERY unaccomodating!!!!! hostesses were very snobby and acted like they didnt want to seat us bc we are a party of 9. Our waitress had no personality and was extremely sarcastic and rude towards us. Wasnt professional or attentive at all. Very similar to our experience at "The Dock" which is right down the street. I wouldnt suggest coming to lake wallenpaupack if you like to go out for dinner or anywhere on the lake because everywhere we go we have encountered extremely rude staff.

We decided to eat out to get away from the rain over our camp site. This is a cool spot with friendly staff and tasty food. We recommend all of the following we had ordered: Calamari, Seafood Bisque, Hot Wings, and New York Strip. Everything was prepared and presented well. My son and I were entertained by the ring-hook game at our table as well as the larger versions outside.

Pros: - Friendly, accommodating staff. - Excellent food. The buttermilk chicken sandwich was amazing and the french fries were crispy and hot. - Environment was relaxing. - Prices are very good. Cons: - This place can get a little noisy, but thats not its fault. Overall rating: 9/10

The waitress was pleasant and answered all my questions pleasantly. Also the food we had was great. I had the cajun fish and chips. The fries were hot and crispy as they should. The fish was not greasy and had good flavour. Would eat there again.

Fantastic food, my wife and I came here two nights in a row for dinner on our anniversary weekend. Staff was polite and food was excellent, try the French onion soup and the coffee drinks.
