First of all my bf and I are born and raised NYC breed so when we go out to dinner faded jeans and a plain t shirt does not cut it forus. We stayed at the resort near by and spent hours driving around looking for even a decent place to eat that didnt allow thermals a there wardrobe attire. I quickly saw a sign for this restaurant and a picture and figure it couldnt be worst than what we saw even the resort restaurant was a shame. Finally after getting lost by thegps and terrible land signs. Asking the host was helpful and super friendly on the phone do we found it ok after calling a lot. Surprisingly the food was great tasting appearance was awesome as well and unbelievable as this sounds the chef is for NYC as wel so he takes pride his food. The appearance is define lay chic classicandtheservice from the bus people to the waitress was five star and super friendly. Something Idid. Or expect from a place in the middle of nowhere from what experienced we enjoyed everything so wel weave saved there number if you are in the area and wants quiet romantic friendly enjoyable tasy dinner this is the place to be, even there escargot was phenomenal oneofthe best restaurants I have been to inandouut of NYC

My wife and I went there for a nice, romantic dinner for our anniversary. The restaurant itself was very nice, which is one of the reasons it is getting 2 stars instead of one. The appetizer was delicious, which is the other reason I am giving it 2 stars. Your $30 meal does not come with a salad, therefore we each ordered a $5 house salad. We both took 2 bites of and sent them back. Their "famous dressing" was super sweet and tasted as though it did not belong on a salad, waste of money. It took a little over an hour before we actually received our food, which would have been okay if the food was amazing, it was not. I got the blackened salmon special, which had no flavor at all. I could have cooked it better myself and saved $28. My wife had the veal saltimbocco and it was way to salty. And to top it all off, there was one waitress and a hostess/bartender for the entire restaurant, so we were kind of forgotten about. My wife sat with an empty drink for the majority of her meal and it took about 15 minutes after we were finished to get our check. We both felt as if it was a waste of a date night. After spending nearly $100 on our meal, we hit up Wendys on the way home.

Fantastic service and absolutely stellar food to go along with a lovely ambiance. The stuffed mushrooms, baked polenta, clams with linguine and grilled salmon with risotto were all fantastic. My wife and I were stuffed but couldnt help but to order dessert to go. We had a bite each of their homemade tiramisu before we called it a night and my goodness, it was fantastic. Considering the menu and ambiance, it was surprisingly affordable. If you drink wine, they had a fantastic selection.

Nice atmosphere, good food. We sat at the bar with my wife for diner. I ordered the special of the night, "steak au poivre" medium rare" that came out cooked to perfection. Great service by Val.
