My family and I have eaten at Rockin Rodgers for years. It has always been our favorite place to grab a burger and the kids love the shakes. I have had great service at the restaurants in Salem until I went to the Market street store. What a mistake that was. We had a coupon that must have not sat well with the waitress because she was very rude that I tried to use the coupon when it came time to pay. She made me feel stupid and I left with a bad taste in my mouth about the restaurant but since we had been long time customers I thought anyone can have a bad day I wasnt giving up on Rockin Rodgers over one rude waitress. Well after about a year we decided to go back and they were busy and it looked like a rush was clearing out so we sat in the back. Again a waitress that wouldnt give me eye contact tossed menus on the table and then that was it, she literally never came to take our order. I thought theres no way this could be the same waitress from a year ago but we were never helped. I sat there angry but I waited just to see how long it would take before we were helped, well 45 minutes later we left. No one came after my kids and I to apologize and I can tell you I rarely get time off and money to take them out t o eat and two times now Rockin Rodgers Market street restaurant has made my family and I feel horribly unimportant. Years of loyal service and I will never eat there again. So disappointed.

There are 3 Rocking Roger locations in Salem. The one on Market Street has apparently become the step child of the bunch as the decor has become very , drab, and worn. A very hot evening and when we walked in it was even warmer as their ac was either not functioning or only partially functioning. Or they dont have any. We ordered immediately upon being seated...1 cheeseburger and an order of fries to split with 2 milkshakes. 45 minutes later we got our hamburger. This place needs help.

Air conditioning would be awesome. The shakes are great, but had melted and warmed before we could finish it....its tough to eat anything when it gets too hot. BUT, it has such potential to be a really awesome place. Looks like some of the posters and memorabilia have been messed with, but it is fun to look at the old clippings and pictures. :) Going to go back sometime in the winter o fall and try it again...

Great lil old school rocking Rogers... The girl t the counter was amazing during a phone order there was a small miscommunication on my end and this cute girl actually came out in the cold to straighten it out. not call me just came out freezing cold awesome place great food great staff!!!!

Omg, by far one of the BEST BREAKFAST PLACES in Salem!!! The staff, Tasha, Shari, Whitney and Debbie the cook, is the best TEAM Ive seen work together so efficiently and professionally in a long long time!! I seriously am impressed by the establishment ALL AROUND!!!!

I had the hickory smoked bacon burger with fresh cut fries and it was delicious, and than had an apple pie with ice cream over the top. The pie was great but the crust was not my thing yet its still great. I recommend it to everyone to try it at least once.

Good food, but dirty and overpriced. Slow service. The soda was flat and poured from a pitcher. The hand-cut fries were soggy and greasy. The floor had food on it. I have spent less at major chains with a better overall experience.

I enjoyed the atmosphere in this small diner. I ate the sausage, egg, and cheese burrito and enjoyed it! My only complaint is that the potatoes were greasy. Next time I will ask for them crispy and see if that helps improve them!

Great service. An air conditioner would be nice when its hot out. 3 types of fries, crinkle cut, fresh cut and Battered were highlights. We all got different types and shared. Good burgers too.

Food is all hand made burgers and hand cut fries. Nothing comes close to homemade food at a sit down restaurant. Plus its right off the I-5 Market st exit.
