Went there yesterday (8-21-17). Maybe on ANY other day, theyd be alright, however they got off on a bad foot yesterday a.m. Their lead waitress got in just at opening and the 20 or so of us standing in line, were immediately let it. If theyd used a seating hostess, things may have gone better. The waitress started taking orders from the back of the restaurant and some of the first people in sat near the front. Others came in after the original crush and sat at the counter and some of them got served first. It wasnt until an hour and a half later when I finally got my meal. Food was ok and it was a special "ECLIPSE" menu, as I looked at their regular menu in the window and Id been charged an extra $1.25 for my chicken fried steak and 2 eggs (which they originally forgot. My advice, is to stay away from this place if you see a crowd, as they cant handle the volume.

Went here on eclipse day and found the experience to be pretty terrible. Our waitress was very nice, but the service was incredibly slow. I would have understood if they were packed, but they werent--they were almost empty when we arrived. To make matters worse, the food was both terrible and overpriced. I paid $10 for a chicken fingers plate that came with a measly three chicken fingers, and they were greasy, bland, and disgusting--Ive literally had better chicken out of a freezer bag. Perhaps they were just having an off day, but I wouldnt come here again and certainly wouldnt recommend them if youre in the area.

Meh. If you like dirty restaurants with just ok food and ok prices, its ok. Dont expect anything mindblowing. The waitress is probably the best part of this place. Theres so much good food downtown, Ill probably never go here again.

My special hide away. Breakfast or lunch it is always friendly, fast, and loving people and environment. They knew and remembered me by my cowboy hat and jacket and how honest and trusting I befriended with their staff.

Pink lettuce on burger and poor service. This place stays open more for the nostalgia than anything. Gone downhill fast over the years. The Art Deco counter stools are one of the only things worthwhile here.

I went on the solar eclipse day. It was really crowded, and thus service was slow, which is fine. The server was friendly, the food however was just an OK. The sausage links were very very salty.

Lovely little place. Simple American food. The framed pictures on the walls alternate between historical photos of Salem and Maxfield Parrish prints... all slightly askew.

A very friendly staff, deliciius food, and an atmosphere reminiscent of the diners of my youth make Court Street Dairy Lunch one of my favorites. ..

I come here for breakfast quite a bit and have never had a bad experience. Friendly service in a good diner is a hard combination to beat.

The burgers and club sandwiches arent the best around, but the service is great and the milkshakes are fantastic.
