One of the most overrated places in Eugene in my not so humble opinion. Home fries potatoes were half crunchy. The jam is Smuckers in packets, the cream for coffee in little plastic cups. They charged me $1.50 more for gluten ftee toast; it was Franz bakery, the cheapest local lowe quality GF substitute. For the ssme amount a fabulous breakfast can be had at places like the Glenwood. I try this place every five years and I always dont get it. The only reason I think it gets voted as the "best hangover breakfast " is its closet to part of the university neighborhood, hence easier to stagger to. Noisy, crowded. Meh.

5/26/2014 Pretty much didnt like it. Not coming back. Got the chicken fried steak and eggs. Took forever. Bad sevice, never got my drinks refilled after nearly 45 minutes. Our check didnt arrive, we had to pay at the counter which was a hassle, nearly left without paying. Also food quality left much to be desired, as did the serving size. "Best hangover breakfast"? maybe if I was hungover I wouldve enjoyed it, sadly all my senses were intact.

Brails. Its a Eugene staple. Theyre not reinventing anything, but theyre consistent. If youre looking for a standard American truck stop breakfast with generous portions (or something to soak up your hangover, as you adjust to Sunday morning) this could be your place. But be careful, stop in more than once or twice and Joy (owner/manager) will start welcoming you by name with an infectious smile.

Im disappointed in the service. While I understand they were busy. The waiter messed up our order 3 separate times. The kids food came out about 4 minutes after we got ours (which was just a waffle), didnt add the strawberries to the waffle, forgot my side order. Whats the point of writing down an order if youre not going to bring out what you wrote down? Coffee refill service had to be requested.

We really wanted to like this place based on reviews, couple of things that made our visit unsatisfactory possibly had a new cook in training?? maybe went in at the wrong time?? not sure.......burnt hash browns, dirty plate had to request a new clean plate, ordered a coffee beverage mostly foam.. kids burger bun was burnt.....maybe we will give it another shot?? Friendly staff though = )....

Greasy-fryyyy Breffesss. Best in town. Amazing service and friendly. Understanding and generous. My friend and I had an unforeseen wait (that WE didnt actually think anything about) so owner compd one of our meals JUST BECAUSE HE THOUGHT HE WAS TAKING A LONG TIME!!! Food - 10/10 Coffee - 9/10 Service - 1,000 / 10

The waiters are friendly and fast and it was easy to be seated even when it looks really busy. I got the chicken skillet with overeasy eggs and it was good. Its not the best breakfast Ive ever had, but if I was hungover it would be. I would recommend this place if you want a fast and casual breakfast or brunch.

First time here since the Keystone became Brails. I came at the most busy time on Sunday. I was seated immediately and had coffee one minute later. Place is clean and tasteful. Staff are smart, friendly, and efficient. Food was excellent and a good bargain. I couldnt be more impressed. Good job!

Hungover? Pregnant? Desperately seeking a classic greasy spoon diner to clog your arteries and warm every corner of your heart? Look no further. Brails not only has the best hash browns in town, but the best service, and the most mediocre coffee. What more could you ask for?

This is hands down our favorite hometown restaurant. Its a Pasadena institution, best known for their elaborate & yummy salads--accompanied by housemade zucchini bread. Breakfast/brunch is great, too. When the weathers nice, the large patio is the place to be.

Good food, bit pricey, but worth while. A side of bacon is about 3 dollars. Oatmeal is 4 dollars. Main dishes are roughly 8-10 dollars. The food tastes good enough to justify the price a bit, but come on. Why do the sides cost so much?

Great service and great food. We came here after looking it up on line. The menu choices looked appetizing and we werent disappointed. Its moderately priced and easy access to the location. I will definitely be back.

Brails used to be our go-to breakfast spot. Always busy always a line but its worth it. Our last experience wasnt the best the food didnt seem up to par and the owner retook our order because they lost our ticket.

This is a lovely, locally owned diner. It wont knock your socks off but everything we tried was very good. The steak and eggs were both cooked perfectly to order and the walnut waffle was crunchy and delicious.

Service here is always great, even when its crazy busy they are still great about checking on you and making sure you have everything you need. The food is also amazing as well. Best hangover food in Eugene.

The food was aweful. The service was worse. They forgot to put our order in so it was made on the fly. It was unsanitary and I became sick a few hours after eating there sub part food. I will never go back.

We needed a quick bite before hitting the road. Service and food was really good. People were all very nice and seemed to know every customers name. Would go back for sure if I was stopping through again.

Great American comfort food. Fantastic service, staff is friendly and attentive, and while theres often a wait, its never been longer than 5 minutes for me. Their salted caramel latte is to die for.

When I ordered the veggie Benedict with veggie sausage, our waiter suggested adding mushrooms and red onions. Yum. My bloody Mary came, as it should, with a whole celery stalk. We love you, Joy!

Brails is just one of those classic places all the locals hit up for breakfast.. its been rated best hangover spot a few times & the owner is usually always there & shes awesome! Yay local!

Got-dam best eggs Benedict. Voted best hash brown slabs by me. Also, the B&G will absorb all poisons, while granting the consumer immunity from bad feelings. 10/10 would ingest again

This is a great, friendly place for breakfast here in Eugene. You cannot go wrong with any of the choices on their menu. The coffee is great, and the service is wonderful.

Staff is very nice. Food was freshly prepared. I thought the waffle was going to be too hard but it turned out to be perfect! My first time having chicken and waffles ever!

Pretty mediocre. Tons of other much better breakfast joints around town. Also usually completely packed with long waits, due to proximity to campus and student housing.

Small noisy eatery. Friendly waitstaff, few vegetarian, no vegan option. Tables too close together - over hear without wanting to everyones conversation.
