I would give no stars if possible. Came in around noon for lunch and the place was almost empty, so usually that means youll get exceptional service, boy were we wrong! Our waiter had no idea what was on the specials board, he didnt answer my questions, he took our order then we didnt see him again until he came to pick up our check, which a different server dropped off. Our salads were runny, mine had one bite of meat, barely any toppings except an excessive amount of iceberg lettuce, and they were completely flavorless. No one came to check on us to see how everything was, she didnt even ask when she dropped the check. When my friend finally asked for a manager after having a bad tasting meal, and even worse service, she was told they didnt have one there right then. A minute later a different server came by inquiring why we asked for a manager and when we told her our complaints, all she said was sorry, nothing more. I was then told it would be a 3 minute wait to run my card for my half of our meal. My friend paid for mine in cash so we could just get out of there. Needless to say, we will not be back.

Where to begin, after waiting several mins to be seated in a mostly empty restaurant we were walked to the furthest table from the door. By the time our server finally had arrived to ask for our order we had ample time to review our options and order. At that point we saw once or twiceusually with over 30 mins in between. No idea what they were doing since there was hardly anyone else around and this is at 3pm. The food was terrible, the chicken for our enchiladas was flavorless as was the enchilada sauce, we actually had to add the salsa served with our chips in order to add flavor to our order. So in conclusion bland food, with little to no service. Worst first impression ever.

We went in mid-afternoon for a late lunch. Several employees walked by before we were acknowledged and seated. We were given a table right next to the entrance to the kitchen despite the practically empty dining room. The chips and salsa were good, the only part of the meal that I enjoyed. Our entrees were bland and practically flavorless. We were essentially ignored, drinks left empty, and waited quite a long time to get our check. My chimichanga wasnt crisp except on the very ends, and the enchilada sauce was so bland it was like it wasnt even there. Im sad we wasted $30 on this meal when the taco bell next door would have had more flavor.

One time we went the front door and walked back to the cantina and thought it was weird that nobody else was back there but sat down anyway. The bartender showed up and took our order and was cool. Then someone tried to come in from the cantina door and it was locked! So I asked why and the guy casually says theyre not open yet but no worries we can stay. I thought that was really cool of them. Also, the food is amazing good (get fajitas), the drink specials are good and the beer selection is lacking but they got enough to satisfy a casual visit. I love it there, we go monthly or more.

This restaurant has become our Mexican go-to. Service is always friendly and the food is excellent. The burritos are truly massive--I normally get two, if not three, meals out of it every time. The appetizer chips are always hot and fresh. There are two dip options for the chips: a bean dip and a salsa. I am fairly spice sensitive, and I find the salsa to be just the right amount of heat. The restaurant is way bigger inside than it seems from the front. Itd be a great place to come in with a large group, but its also perfect for a mellow mid-week date night. Definitely recommend!

Ok so this place should be embarrased that they serve this slop to people! Decided to try out the place with my family, I figured it would be your average greasy Mexican food but this is beyond ridicoulous! They pour a ton of canned sauce to mask their canned meat and soggy tortillas. Rice was really dry Im sure they just cook about 10 lbs of it a week in advance and expect that people wont notice...oh yea and as for the drinks, the margaritas were watered down lime juice. Please dont waste your hard earned money at this sorry excuse for a restaurant!

I felt like I was in an episode of Gordon Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares. The decor was bleh, with painted fish, Christmas decorations, and fake plants, the menus on the table were sticky, the beans with the chips tasted off, and the chips were store bought and unflavorful. The prices should have made me leave, but I figured Id give it a chance. The chili colorado burrito I ordered was not very flavorful and the tortilla it came covered in was a bit tough. Not going back.

Have been going to the Tigard Mazatlan now for many years and I find the waitress excellent, and the food the best. My wife and I have tried many other Mexican restaurants in the Tigard area and have found NONE that even come close to the excellent food, and the service that we get here at Mazatlan. In my opinion absolutely the best Mexican food there is.

Asked for Orange juice & didnt have any. I asked for Lengua tacos & didnt have any. The shrimp cocktail my husband ordered was extremely hot and he asked for it warm. My rice was crunchy. It didnt feel fresh. It tasted like itd been warmed up 100 times. Not coming back. The employee were very nice though

The food is delicious and the staff are always great. Weve been going here for years and have seen the same staff which speaks highly of their lack of turnover. Plenty of parking, large portion sizes and fantastic margaritas make this one of our favorite places to eat.

This place is a little outdated (decorationwise) but the food is so damn good man i had two serving and the servings are like car tires. The service was quick and helpful and the drinks were huge. Everything was nice and clean even the bathrooms were extremely clean.

Great service, the wait staff was friendly, and the fajitas were delicious. I had the sizzling steak fajitas. The tortillas were perfect, steamed and soft, and the steak was well-done, most and the seasoning was just perfect, all at a reasonable price.

Mazatlan has provided a wonderful restaurant environment and food. Their Mole sauce is delicious, and their food is always served hot! My family has been coming here for years, and the food and staff has always been great. Great job guys!

Ordered a vegertain burrito and vegeterian fajitas. Told our waiter we were vegan and they made sure everything was dairy free! The salsa is amazing and the portions are sizeable. Definitely a great mexican dining experience.
