I had to delete my review bedcause now ihave a different outlook on this resturant the blonde young kid needs a attitude adjustment if you ask my opinion was verrry pushy from the second i walked in .. in a good paying customer and have been comind here for years but here is the issue i was directed to sit down after. I almost seated my self.. and now that im typing they are over there in the corner giving me the evil stares and i mean they now cause he has brough the older lady server and has goten her involved in the dispute like we are in highschool all over again... Im verry dissapointed i am the type of person who asks qurestions about the menu which the young server boy did not like my method at all told me in a rude tone " dude maybe i should com back when your ready ad look over the menuj since you cant make up your mind" LOL are you serious i asked two questions about two different items and that ment to him i needed to look over the whole menu that i. Wasnt sure of what i wanted...but if you did you job its to serve me one with respect nt be impaitent andplay school games... i also had to chase him down yes chase him down in this 700 sqft room just to ask foroninions which he threw a fit about ... then i went back to order a bisquit cause i over heard someone order it and it sounded good ...and he gets mad and tells mde "dude thats why i told you to look over the menu the guys already started your meal cooking it" im like OMFG are you serious right now "just fogetit dude"like seriousso what if it came late and sowhat if it wasnt cooked at same time i dont care i wanted the damn busicuit not his attitude and crooked smirk...really let down i hope obama diddnt get this treatment...like serious real ly let down and it will be awhile before icome back here... Need to loose the rudeness and be more professional starting with the outfit untied dirty nike shoes with sloppy wrinkled pants and shirt isnt a good impression ....food is good even though their deep fryer is dirty cause i can taste it in the food ..Change your OIL but mostly the server is probably only here cause. Maybe family owned and the kid needed a job but let me tell you it makes your resturant verry non proffesional.... kid clean up your act and appearance. Not polite to keep glaring too each time i turn my head to look at him its not doing your any good and especailly your job you work for .... used to bring my x here years ago and it was great then byt but things have changed i guess!

went there this afternoon my Lady had the french toast hash brown sunny side eggs and coffee, I had the cheese burger regular with onion rings, french toast was good, a lil sugary, but the presentation and amount was great (6 pieces) has brown golden crisp one that fills the plate, eggs white and runny just the way we ordered, now the cheeseburger was outstanding hand patted 9 inch long by 1 inch thick beef patty covered by melted cheddar colossal burger definately was not expecting the size of this burger absolutely great taste came with the fixins toms onion pickle lettuce, the onion rings looked like they were dipped and prepared there which is way better then pre packaged. Now the diner itself aint a pearl palace but its clean and gives a comfortable home feel, the service is great the tall gentleman and the blonde Lady had great customer service, very attentive and quick with there delivery if something was done they brought it to us, i give it such a high review because what i looked for a got there, in conclusion i would highly suggest spending a morning or afternoon in the restaurant.

Recently ordered the taco omelet and when I mentioned to the waitress that it was gross she copped much attitude. So I explained to her that even if it is one of the most popular items on the menu there were hunks of raw onion in it as big as my finger and a pool of grease filled the plate from the bland and obviously days old ground beef. The whole place has a very worn, tired atmosphere (not in a charming way) and the place was filthy in every square inch. Absolutely filthy. Everywhere. Try to avoid the table under the leak in the roof and avoid the soup as it is left uncovered and god knows what falls into it through the hole in the ceiling directly over it. Prices are 1/3 higher than comparable places and the food is worse. Costs about as much as Sherris. Huge portions but the food is disgusting and wait staff will show there true colors if you have any complaints. First time will be my last time.

Der Hammer - ein Highlight unseres USA-Urlaubs. Das Personal ist so freundlich und das Frühstück so lecker und für amerikanische Verhältnisse unschlagbar günstig. Es geht nicht besser. Usually I dont write reviews in English but I have to leave a few words at least. The breakfast here was not good - it was more than amazing! Thank you so much for your kindness and a perfect start into the day.

Look, the foods alright, but when youve got a super rude server who does nothing but constantly making stupid jokes and obviously doesnt want to work there with her attitude being the main focus of our breakfast!! She was also trying to charge me and my husband 30$ for a breakfast that we KNOW was only 15$, she does not know how to do math with a calculator right there!! Horrible customer service, DO NOT GO THERE ON MONDAYS OR TUESDAY, every other day is great, the other older woman who works there is very personable and friendly and has amazing customer service skills, the old lady Im talking about sucks, she is mean and her jokes are not funny, her jokes consist of how much she hates her job, well then stop making my breakfast suck because you suck!!!! Im not happy

We love our hole-in-the-wall "ma n pa" cafes. This is definitely it. The true test is the biscuits and gravy and they did not disappoint. The building might look run down from the outside, but the food is great. Very large portions for a great price. I always have trouble deciding what to get because I want biscuits AND eggs or whatever Im in the mood for. Gateway gives you a great variety on one plate. I had biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon. My fiance ordered sausage with his meal and was surprised to find a huge helping of sausage and not the ordinary small patty. We both loved this place and wish we could bring it back to CA with us.

Went there because I heard great things. when I got there we out ourselves on the wait list and watched as the delicious food came out. I was starting to get excited about trying this place when the person who was by the cash register took money from a guest, dropped the money on the floor, picked it up, out it away and then grabbed a plate of food with that same unwashed hand and delivered it to another guest. Im not even a germaphobe but that grossed me out so much I had to leave disappointed I didnt get a chance to try there food. Get rid of that person and I might come back.
