Wish I could have given a better rating. We went on a Saturday night a little after 10pm. We ordered 24 wings and a couple beers. We were given a # and were told that the food would be out shortly. We sat at a table and played Trivial Pursuit for what seemed like forever. Being patient people (but hungry), we saw a large group who came in well after us get served their food, but we kept quizzing each other (I won, for the record) and excercised our patience. After more than 45 minutes, I went and asked the woman at the counter how long it usually took for wings to come out, to which she replied "about 15 minutes." I told her it had been 45 minutes and she showed a bit of concern and asked the cook through the window if they had started our order. Since the ordering counter is mere feet from the kitchen window, I could see and hear his response that they clearly never even got my order. I told the woman what the types of wings were, and then another guy behind the counter who was listening in held up a ticket, read it aloud, and asked if it was my order. I replied that it indeed was, and they whispered something to each other. I told them I would be sitting outside and was told they would be out immediately. Great. Well, I went outside and sat there, able to see through the window at all that was going on. I guess I expected a little urgency in the order, seeing as how we were coming up on an hour since the order. Nope. The guy who had read my order aloud inside actually came out with a side salad that we didnt order. I reminded him that it was 24 wings and nothing else, and he laughed and said something about how they must have gotten the order numbers messed up. Yes, yes you did. Another 25 minutes passed, and I saw no sign of OUR food, but saw others who had come in since they re-placed my order getting theirs. It was well over an hour now, and I decided to cut my losses. I went inside and asked for my money back. The guy asked if I wanted the wings to-go and that they should be done in a minute. I replied that I just wanted my money back and was tired of waiting. He begrudgingly complied, and gave to me in cash the order amount. Since I paid on my debit card and left a $4 tip (you pay and tip before you receive your order), I asked for the $4 tip back as well. He looked at me in astonishment, as if he didnt want to return it. I explained that I waited an exorbitant amount of time for something that never came and wasnt trying to be a dick but felt they didnt deserve my tip money. He grabbed it out of the tip jar, and slapped it into my hand. No apology on their end, nothing of the sort. Somehow I ended up walking out feeling like I was the bad guy (but still hungry as hell). I know this place gets a ton of business and they will always stay busy so they dont really need to give top-notch service, but in the event of an error or crappy service, maybe they could MAYBE swallow some pride and admit fault and apologize. Or when they know someone has been waiting and they screwed up, bring their food out next? Show that you care? I guess not. I will give them another chance, since I have heard nothing but good things about their food. But I wont go there expecting much as far as service. Maybe I will bring a snack in my pocket, just in case.

So my boyfriend was told about this place from a coworker, being the fact we love trying new places we drove the hour and a half to Portland just to try it. My first impression was "holy cow this place is must be good" for the fact there were LOTS of people there. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad and my boyfriend got the wings with I think 2 or 3 different kinds of sauces. I have to say it was one of the best salads I had ever had from a place like that, it was crisp, the chicken tasted really fresh along with the dressing which was blue cheese and it paired so well with the salad. Now my boyfriend is a spicy fiend and he loves getting anything spicy if available so thats what he did and it wasnt bad, you could tell they hand made the sauces and I love that. Decently priced and to be honest better than buffalo wild wings. Defenitly worth the drive!

FOTM FTW! The wings here are the best take on traditional hot wings I have ever had. They have a great variety of sauces. Hot.5 is my favorite when they have it. Watch out for their hottest wings. They will burn you. The spicy peanut and buffalo lime cilantro are some other favorite sauces. The rest of the menu is filled with great sandwich and salad options. The onion rings and accompanying sauce are a must. Also try the fried Oreos or Nutter Butters if you are in the mood for something sweet. Monday night is $2 pint/$6 pitcher night. They have a rotating beer selection that always has a few old favorites and new surprises. Plan your Tuesday morning accordingly.

This is the only place we go for wings - besides pok pok (which is very different). Friendly and laid-back atmosphere, they dont serve hard alcohol, but usually have a good beer selection. All of the wing sauces are good, and luckily you get to try them every time you order in the handy dandy tasting center right by the registers. The sweet potato fries are also bomb, and the sandwich selection is too - try the Emma if you can tear yourself away from the wings. They deep fry Twinkies and snickers and Oreos for dessert and even have pretty good sweet tea. Its a winning location and great place to hang out and snack or for a feast in a hurry.

I went here for the first time a couple of years ago and I burst with excitement when I heard they moved a location about five blocks from my house. I go here about twice a month and am never disappointed with the wings. The sauces give you a perfect blend of spice and taste that no other place can match. I have had different servers each time, but most of the time my waiter is very friendly and polite. The decorations give off a very friendly atmosphere. One problem is the long wait, and especially on weekends. Ive been charged with up to a 45-minute wait on a Saturday night. If you live close, its easy to wait at home during that time.

really good meatless nuggets. The vegan drumsticks are AMAZING and huge. I wasnt expecting them to be so big! I had the mild and sweet BBQ and they were great... the mild sauce is delicious. Beware the mild sauce isnt vegan, it has butter in it. The cashier alerted me to this which I thought was really attentive to their customers. Great onion rings and incredibly cheap and tasty side salad. Priced well. This place has been crowded every time I come, but Ive always been able to get a table. Note: you order at the counter and get a number and they bring out your food to you. Love this place... I have been back many times.
