Came here once to grab a variety of pastries for a mimosa party. The cafe is so darn cute and the pastries were so dang yummy that I will have to come back to hang out and try more of their wares. This cafe has an astonishingly Portland homesteader vibe that feels a little out of place on MLK, and its pretty small, so it made sense to take things to go. Waiting in line, I admired the vintagey decor and their plethora of baked items on display. I felt giddy ordering so many different kinds of pastries - many of which seemed like original recipes that you cant get anywhere else. They didnt disappoint - on par with Grand Central, Id say.

This is a great place: great people, great food. Im not a coffee drinker, but the O.J. is the best in town, and the breakfast sandwich is uniquely delicious. I live miles away, and Im happy to cross the desert of bad drivers to arrive at this oasis! If I were a renter, Id consider moving into B&Ps neighborhood, just for the pleasure of starting my day there! (And by the way, there are four pecks in a bushel; and the 1950s song, "A Bushel and a Peck" can be found on Youtube.)

I have held off on reviewing this place so that people would stay away and Id get it all to myself. ... ... my partner has shamed me into reluctantly sharing that this is one of my favorite spots in Portland. Seriously. Its the best. Sometimes you just want a coffee, muffin, and tasty breakfast sandwich without having to wait 45 minutes for the privilege of ordering (*glares at other Portland breakfast spots*). Bushel & Peck fo liiiIiiife!

Yummy in my tummy! I have had the privilege of working down the street from this bakeshop for about a year and I go in all the time for their amazing granola. I find myself a lucky lady indeed when the sweet owner, Amanda, decides to make cinnamon rolls as they are the best I have ever had. I also come in for their breakfast sandwiches, and soups and salads for lunch. I may as well just start giving them a part of my paycheck every week!

I live in Vancouver and work here in Portland. This shop is such a treat to have on my way to work! The food is fabulous and the employees are top notch! The great smells walking in to the cozy atmosphere just make your day all the better! Sweet and savory is a favorite of mine and when I stop on Fridays I make sure to get something to have on Saturday morning when I am at home drinking coffee and enjoying my weekend! Thank you!

The coffee shop before B & P was nice, but a little on the basic and boring side. I was happy to see another coffee shop come in because I do work about a block away and its nice to great coffee place so close. This place gets all the little touches right. I love the small decor touches like old-school thermoses and ice chest for sodas. B & P makes some great food too.

Ive been to about 20 or so coffee shops in Portland in the last month, and this one has the best baked goods in my opinion (as well as the best banter with patrons). The biscuits are amazing and the cinnamon buns are trouble. Open early, convenient on MLK, a parking lot right next door, but a little bit tricky to spot if youre cruising by.

Love a good quality bakery thats not overpriced. Love this spot! Very quiet and quaint even on a Sunday morning. Nice staff and good oldies tunes. I got the biscuit sandwich and a zucchini, chocolate, cream cheese cake that was so amazing we got a 2nd slice to go. The tea was excellent, definitely coming back again and again and again...

I work nearby, so have been able to try most everything on their menu. Its all wonderful! Their pastries, sandwiches, quiche, salad, soup, and more are incredibly inventive, fresh, and SO delicious. The staff is super friendly. Try their fresh orange juice or vanilla bean lemonade! And the biscuit breakfast sandwiches are to die for.

Its super close to my job and the folks in there are super friendly. I had never been here before and got lunch, snacks, a mocha, and breakfast sammie all for under 20 dollars and it was delicious and fresh and makes this my new favorite place. Thanks you guys!

Im super excited that I just stumbled in here on a whim. Really interesting flavor combos (lemon basil bar) and gluten free options are great for me! Plus, reasonable prices....especially for gluten free options. Ill be back!

Consistently mind blowing. The combination of flavors in the sandwiches and pastries have created a space in my heart that can only be filled at Bushel and Peck. Used to live nearby now I travel to eat here. Try anything!

Cozy little bakery and coffee shop in my neighborhood. Their baker is amazing. She changes the menu everyday so you can always get something new. Also they open early which is great for my schedule.
