We ordered a cake for my daughters sixth birthday. There were four of us in the room at the time we placed the order. We specifically asked them to add two different layers of cake with two separate flavors- banana and vanilla. The first thing my daughter asked me when she bit into the cake was "where was the banana?" The cake looked beautiful but there was no banana in the cake. When we spoke with Ann she was adamant that she wasnt wrong, is never wrong and she remembers "every order." As a mother who has been ordering cakes for my daughter for six years now I also remember every order and I know for a fact that this one was wrong. I will never visit this shop again due to their terrible customer service.

GF SOFT pretzels. ..ahhh YUMM! Got some GF Frozen biscuits to take home and try. Ann & Dan very friendly with good customer service. Open till 4pm on Thur, as stated above. ((Below comment-1 star for their hours? Ok, I get taking one star off for hours but messing up their rating for it, really?! Rate on srv, price, cleanliness or quality NOT the hours they operate in my opinion, unless your going to pay the wages or do the work.))

We special ordered a cake for my sisters birthday. Banana. It was full of banana flavor and the chocolate ganash filling the bakery suggested was wonderful. And it was beautifully decorated, more than just the happy birthday message. Many thanks for the great service (delivered to my local New Seasons) and the splendid birthday cake.

I had a silly theme party planned and needed a "goth" cake and they came through in a big way. Beautiful decorations, and everyone could eat it it - no gluten, no dairy, no nuts, and vegan. Not really sure what it was made out of but it was very tasty. Great experience, we will order from them for future events.

AMAZING!!! All GF, DAIRY FREE AND VEGAN OPTIONS!!! Was a great place to stop and grab breakfast. We bought breakfast for four people and it didnt break the bank ;). The woman serving us was epic and was very respectful to me as a hard of hearing person. I respected that she was patient and very sweet!

One star for their terrible hours. What is it about GF bakeries that think they should only be open while everyone else is at work? This place closes at 3 pm on weekdays.... how am I supposed to be able to come in if they open after I get to work and close two hours before I leave the office?

Great sunshiny atmosphere and friendly staff. Large variety of gluten-free sweet and savory. The broccoli cheddar quiche was absolutely delicious! Was very happy to be able to order a GF cheesecake for a birthday celebration!

GEM has moved in to their new retail bakery and kitchen space on NE Broadway. Nice big space and more savory pastry offerings along with Water Avenue Coffee. Theyre open limited hours fro, Wednesday to Sunday.

Excellent gluten free pastries! Vegan and dairy free options are available too. Finally a tasty treat that didnt make me sick from gluten and dairy!! I loved the banana oat muffin.
