Meh. Perhaps my expectations were too high, since Bunk is a Portland classic. Visiting on a Saturday night at 7pm, we had to wait about 40 minutes- not a big deal. We were sat at the worst table in the place, crammed into a corner by the supply closet, inches away from the most obnoxious table of loud middle aged "look at how cool we are eating at this trendy restaurant" bridge and tunnel yuppies. The margarita was strong, so props for that. Our waitress did a fine job, so I cant complain about that either. The food was really disappointing. We ordered several tacos, chips and guacamole, and rice & beans. My $4 fried chicken taco was mostly sour cream, with an almost non-existent chicken nugget swimming around inside. After tip, the bill for my wife and I was over $50 for a meal of bland goop. Considering I can pay $35 elsewhere and enjoy a delicious Mexican meal, no wait, hold a conversation without rupturing my vocal chords, and have leftovers after... I suggest Tommy do the humane thing and put a bullet between Triggers miserable horsey eyes. Neigh.

With such great backing from the guys at Bunk, I had high hopes for Trigger. I know its a new place and style of food, but service was just so poor. Just trying to take our order they had to come back twice to ask follow up questions (its a taco...how hard is it to get a taco order down?), then they confused one order and missed another. When that happened you would think its important for them to build positive relationships as a new restaurant and they would be happy to provide that missing order, but they didnt. They asked us to pay for that missing order. How much does it cost them to make just one taco? Overall it was a disappointment. I hope they improve their service.

Only one experience at this location and it wasnt good. Three staff (visible maybe more working) and slow service. 10 minutes to ask if I wanted a drink and I was the only customer not currently drinking/eating and was sitting at the bar. Another 30 for grilled cheese sandwich. Tried another location a couple of times since once buying two different sandwiches. Im just not a Bunk fan.

I have enjoyed the food every time I have visited Trigger. I would tend to agree the staff can seem a bit indifferent at times and I too have had trouble with getting the correct order on 1 out of 3 visits. With all that said I will continue to go back as long as the food continues to be good and the staff is friendly and does a good job the majority of the time.

My daughter recommended this since she used to work at Bunk Sandwiches. Had the Smoked Chicken Wings with Buttermilk dressing. Also for the entree had the Brisket Fajita. Very good. My only criticism would be in their beer selection. Being in Beervana (Portland) they should have some microbrews to serve. Other than that I enjoyed myself.

I think Ive been to all the Bunk locations at this point. But Bunk Wonder is my favorite. There seems to be more on the menu there. Great specials. Love the vibe. Love the food. And parking! Oh my lord, theres parking! Smoked Fried Chicken sandwich is insanely good.

One of my fave places to catch a show. The sound is good and theres some space to move around, even at crowded shows. Pro tip: if theres a split for an all ages show, hang out on the sober side, more room and a better chance of getting up front!

Just. Great. Fricking. Sandwiches! I love Bunk and this spot is my new favorite. Got the BLT and almost cried tears of joy, like really. I dream of this sandwich. Like, in the dream the sandwich just appears Im surprised but into it.

One of the best places in Portland to see a concert. There is room for a fair amount of people, but the space still feels intimate and has good sound. I just wish they would book more bands that I want to see!

Yeah, this place doesnt really do anything wrong. The food is tasty and the beers are cheap. Come here during happy hour though, otherwise theyre not so cheap.

Try the smoked fried chicken sandwich. It is messy but really tasty. Its a small spot and doesnt have much seating, so it gets crowded during busy times.

Good food, polite friendly service, and handy location. My Cuban sandwich was ok, kinda flat. The tots were ok. Not much for seating inside.

Excellent food. Still confused as to why the bartender has to give you an awkward number to tote around when youre one of three people inside.

Good food and sevice. Cocktails are o.k. depending on whos working. Neat atmosphere. For the price the drinks could be a little stiffer.

A good place to get something to eat after work and wait out the traffic. Food is pretty good and the drinks are reasonably priced.

Good prices on drinks, awesome atmosphere, and a little bit tucked away to make it quite the nice place to relax for the evening.

Decent food, but nothing memorable. Too much great food in Portland for me to want to come here twice.
