If you live in the Hough or Carter park area, the Thirsty Sasquatch is a great little bar to walk to. Theres live music on the weekends, drunk history night, and a wide verity of beers on tap (20 to 30 at a time). They also have one of the largest whiskey selections from Washington and Oregon in the area. My wife and I walk there on a weekly bases. Its a great place to laptop inside in the winter and the outdoor patio (in back) is great when the weather is nice. One of the more comfortable places to hang out in Uptown village.

Great tap room. Lots of selection and very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Theres a decent back patio and the inside is cool. They know their way around whiskeys too. They recent brought in their own pretzels to eat, which brings me to my only reason for dropping a star here - is that if you want food, bring your own or order from the Mexican place next door.

The best tap list Ive seen in Vancouver. I visited for the first time in a year or two this past weekend and found that they have expanded their outdoor patio. Awesome! I loved sitting out there with the husband, one of our dogs, a burrito from the place next door, and a beer.

My favorite place to go when the hipsters arent around. The Marion Berry whisky is my go to of Im indecisive. The Deciptivus, if you are able, is a must have whiskey. Plenty of beers to be had too. Food orders come from business next door

Love this place. Always a great rotating tap list, but also a great whiskey selection. Expansive outdoor seating in the back is a great addition. No food, but several surrounding restaurants will deliver to you there so no big deal.

Great beer list, one of the best bottle selection Ive ever seen (there were seriously half a dozen whales in the cooler), cozy atmosphere. I dont have a lot of reasons to venture up to Vancouver, but count this place as one of them.
