Lets just start out with this. My girlfriend refuses to ever come back to this place with me, and we only have been here together once. However, I do like to bring my dog here during the summer since they have outdoor seating. Im not sure if they actually allow dogs, but nobody seemed to mind or have an issue with my dog sitting by my side eating ice cubes from our empty bloody mary glasses. The food is okay, but who really comes to the Tip Top Too for the food? Its the twenty dollars worth of Rainer that youd like to consume, and the odd folks that start up random conversations with you that take your mind off of the crappy day that sent you here in the first place. If I ever lose my job, the Tip Top Too will be my first stop.

Old School watering hole in uptown village. Its been there as long as anything in the area has and they are always busy because they have good service, old school food and drink, and old school values when it comes to customers. Mostly its the usual shift of locals in the morning for breakfast and cheap coffee and then from lunch - closing its pretty busy with folks who want to unwind in an unpretentious space. I dropped a star because the restrooms could be better, but I almost put it back on because they have an amazing sauce selection for your steak and burger!

Greasy bar food and cheap beers in a good way and its always packed on sports day and taco Wednesday. Music is hit or miss depending on the crowd and if its packed, the single bar tender and cook might take awhile. Believe it or not breakfast is good here. You can sit down next to drinking regulars at 8 a.m. and enjoy a breakfast plate, while the guy with news paper gets hammered. Strange but fun.

Unbelievable. Being a mile from the largest biking community in the world I got kicked out from the bar/restaurant for having a backpack. They didnt bother checking or looking at it. It carries my bike lock, gloves and my keys. Ive been in there numerous times before with it. I told then they lost a lot of business and she didnt even care as she mumbled and walked around the corner.

I really like going to Tip Top. It is really relaxing and chill. If you are looking for a bar that isnt blaring music and has a freindly staff then this is the place to go ( I do have to agree about the food though- Not so great and I cant believe the kitchen has passed a health inspection.) Stick to the beer and you will have a great time!

Tip top is a old place. Never been remodeled or really taken care of. The bartender (women) dont fit with the culture in the place. Rather stuck up valley girl look from High School. Also, If I come to a place to eat. I dont want to spee or eat with a dirty animal. The place is pet friendly. So everyone can bring in a animal.

This place is your local dive without any of the charm. Prices and drink quality are based on how well you know the bartender. The food is actually pretty damn decent, but unless you want a bunch of drunk old men breathing down your back, cat calling you without taking the hint, then I would suggest getting your order to go.

I think some of the bar stools have shaped themselves to the regulars. Id call this a budwieser bar, not too many fancy microbrew hipsters will be hanging out here discussing dry hop flavor profile or IBUs, theyll be discusssing Jimmy John and Robby Gordon in turn 3.. Cheap food!

These bartenders rock! Cheap drinks, descent food, pet friendly. Ping pong in back, tvs everywhere, a good place. It could use a remodel so if you care about that sort of thing you may not love this place. But i think thats what most of us like about it.

Weird place. Always has someone in it weather its 9am or 11pm. Sometimes there are bar fights, sometimes there is blatant racism. I do enjoy having a drink here from time to time. Food is pretty good. Outdoor smoking and seating area.

Great place. Food menu was a little lacking. Free ping pong though! (bring your own balls). Its a place you feel good about getting hammered because everyone else is belligerently hammered - Yay Vancouver.

Loved it when it was strictly a tavern, yet change in inevitable. Love all of the staff, the atmosphere, and ping pong! Plus Guinness in a can is always good.

Drinks are cheap and stiff. Crowd varies between longshoremen, hipsters and ping pong enthusiasts. Good place to pick up a future scorned lover.
