Food was absolutely amazing. However I didnt feel like it was a very accommodating experience. It was more like a mcdonalds or red Robin experience in that they were out of "side salads" and they could only give a few options as a side for my burger. They didnt offer any options like pay extra for the side you want or I can give you the sautéed veggies since we are out of side salads but I need to charge you full price for them and we dont usually do that but Ill make an exception. There was no options just "No you cant do that". Also food was taking quite a while and other people were being explained what was going on but we were just brought ours like nothing was wrong even though it had been like 30 minutes. "Might be exaggerated time usually goes slower than it feels." Good place, I will be back some time but there were some dissapointments.

First, the food was good. I had the teriyaki chicken, my wife had the garlic chicken. There was plenty of rice, and my wife enjoyed the macaroni salad. For the food, I would have given it four stars. BUT, I felt like they nickle and dime you here. Except for soy, extra sauce cost and the amounts were small. The drinks were costly, and refills were $1.00. For a meal over $20, I didnt expect to be eating off paper plates using plastic ware. They werent rude, but they werent friendly either. Good food but not worth the prices.

Perhaps my expectations were too high based on other reviews I had read. Rice was pedestrian, same for macaroni salad. Garlic chicken was crispy and good, a touch dry. Kahlua pork was bland. Yakisoba was decent. Staff was friendly but painfully slow, like deliberately slow. Also wish I wouldnt have tried their shave ice. No pineapple flavor which was odd. Other flavors/syrups were either thin or obviously artificial. My 2 stars are due the place being clean and the employees being friendly.

Bruh the food is da bomb! The garlic chicken is ono. My wife had the loco moco and love the homemade hambuger pattys. Mac salad is the best Ive tasted in the Oregon. The owner has that Aloha spirit. Came outside for talk story a little bit. Definitely will grind here again. If you one local from Hawaii looking for the local grinds this is the place.

It is delicious! Always a real treat. I love the shaved ice and the Kahlua pig with yakisoba, macaroni salad and sweet Asian chili sauce. The portions are big and the food is delicious!

Taste of 808 is one of my favorite places! I always get the regular kahlua pork plate, and it is always delicious. The Mac salad is the best I have eaten - anywhere. Highly recommended.

Been here three times, two of them I would give 4 stars for but since the food is inconsistent Id say its safe to say 3. I like their sauce options

I just went in for a quick Spam Musubi. I would probably make my own next time. Was to small for my 5yr son. He had 2 and was still hungry.

I have eaten here several times since moving to the area. Each time the food was delicious! I typically get the teriyaki chicken rice bowl!

Great burger patties, wasnt impressed by the Hawaiian take on it though, rice was mush and fried egg was hard all the way through

Garlic Chicken is the bomb. No really. The only complaint I have is that they close early and not open 7 days a week. :)

Pricey for what you get compared to other Hawaiian places around. Any sauce..Bbq or teriyaki was an extra charge.
