This is the best place in Downtown, Olympia. They have a lunch buffet for $8.95 and it comes with a Nan (Bread). Me and my wife were eating and surprisingly Nan came on the table. Love it. They have all kinds of Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten free and meat options. They also have a FREE HOME DELIVERY and they deliver on time. Service and food is excellent and i am totally impressed. I went over there with my family for a birthday party and we enjoyed it. They gave us a best service and treated us like a family, after all they are good people and its a family owned restaurant. Over all i enjoy this restaurant when it comes for celebration and Dinner night.

The food is OK. That is it. The praise it gets for great food is questionable because of this. Coupling the mediocrity of the food with recent price hike on their food has ensured I wont be going back anytime soon to see if the food is getting better. A 5 dollar mark up on an originally 9 dollar dish is not going with the economy, its a last ditch effort to try and break even. Unfortunately it is driving customers away and the restaurant is beginning to look like a ghost town for it. On the plus side the building does have some sweet India themed street art on the side that I hope stays after they eventually close.

I think the number of amazing Indian buffets I have visited has ruined me for mediocre buffets. This was one of the most unappetizing Indian buffets I have visited. The options for food were limited, the rice tasted like it had been out for a while, and the samosas tasted strange, as if they were rancid, very different from the samosas Ive experienced at other Indian places. The only thing that tasted decent compared to other places was the naan, which wasnt the best but could have been worse. Really, I recommend finding another restaurant for lunch in Olympia if you possibly can.

Great Cuisine of India used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I recently went back with a friend to catch the lunch buffet but ended up just missing it instead. Apparently our entrance into the restaurant woke up two of the servers. They looked irritable but told us we could enter, so we did. The service was slow, the dishes too small, our server forgot some cutlery and was just acting weird, and to top it all off it cost 20 goddamn dollars for everything! (Everything being a single pitiful dish of curry, one piece of nan, and a mango lassi.) Would not recommend.

Worst Indian food I have ever tried. The owner is really arrogant and rude. I had a dish that was way too salty, when I went back with my food to return it, he got furious and almost charged at me. Worst quality and taste, Ive been there twice and both the time I really Didnt like the food. Really bad behavior towards customers. This store is ripping off Americans who dont know how bad of an Indian food it is. It should rather be called great travesty of Indian food.

Staff not very attentive. Buffet advertised on front window, though tasty, was old looking. However, the worst part was finding a small rock on the plate with my wifes kabob meal. Luckily we spotted before she bit it. When I showed it to the server (proprietor?), he took it and said something about the oven, but did not apologize or offer to make it better in any way. We will not be back!!!

Our waiter and the host, seemed irked and unhappy. The food was like a poor chain although the garlic nann was good. First time ever, I didnt finish my shrimp or take the waiter up on a take home box. The atmosphere dark, dirty looking (way back to the bathroom near the kitchen) and dismal. Weird Chinese panoramas left-over from former restaurant. I wont go back.

Read the reviews and thought Id check it out. Decent Indian food here and the server did a great job. There was plenty of food for me and my date. We ordered 2 dinner meals and shared that and some 3 cheese naan. Although the food didnt blow me away (I wasnt expecting it to either) Id definitely go back

Ive been going here for years and everything that Ive ever ordered is always delicious! Last week I placed an order for pick up and the employee helped me carry my order to my car since I wasnt able to carry it all at once. I always have a pleasant experience at Great Cuisine :)!

Cant beat their lunch buffet. I think its $8. Their food is always hot and fresh. They bring unlimited Naan bread to your table and the staff are very friendly. I think its pretty authentic judging by the amount of Indian people Ive seen eating there.

Cheapest lunch buffet around at $8.99, and the best chai tea Ive ever had. Its been extensively remodeled as of a few years ago. The naan is tasty, staff is attentive and pleasant, and the lunch buffet is the star. We stop in whenever we visit!

Not authentic Vindaloo was like having tomato soup with meat and potatoes in it. Onion Bhaji was burnt and oily. Service lacked when told about food...nothing done when told about the Vindaloo. We will not return sorry

Excellent service. Food is always out quickly, tasty and fresh. Dont be afraid to ask for spice, when they say mild, medium, spicy they mean exactly that. Wide selection of naan, fun to try them. Im a regular.

Ordered food for take-out. Food was ready when they said it would be and waiting for me at the front. However, the food was dry, lacking in taste/spice. Naan was tough and tasteless. The rice was good, but thats it.

Get there early while the food is fresh! I was there late once, and was unimpressed. It was ok. On time arrival - noonish, and it was quite nice for the price. I am a sucker for a buffet. I only had that.

Gud for a lunch. Cudnt find anything that can impress me in this restaurant. Average Indian food, mildly spiced. Reasonably priced. Try it out, its certainly not a bad one.
