This is a pretty good Thai-Vietnamese fusion restaurant that also offers bubble tea, Bahn mi (sandwiches) and being available on Sundays (an anomaly for a restaurant of its type). I ordered S12 (a lemon grass broth-based soup) to eat there and a chicken Bahn mi to go and was pretty satisfied with both. The bahn mi was pretty good and a step up from other ones Ive had from other Vietnamese restaurants in Olympia but not quite the best in town. The flavor is definitely closer to the sandwiches you would taste closer to the Greater Seattle area. The chicken in the sandwich seemed to be made with a spicy sauce but had a good amount of mayonnaise to dull the spice (for people sensitive to spice) and they replaced pickled daikon with raw cucumbers. The waiter/owner has always been nice to me and I find his food to be fair priced for the quality and quantity that you get. They also offer frequently rotated special dishes which I plan on trying at later visits.

Mini Saigon is one of my favorite Olympia restaurants! This family run establishment is very reasonable and has great food. Try the eggroll noodle salad, the pho ga, the pad thai, or, one of the kids favorites, the fire tray (a bunch of fried appetizers with some oil lit on fire in the center!). The thai iced tea and the fresh spring rolls are great too. The owner has a great sense of humor and will make sure you are comfortable in his restaurant. Park in the dirt lot across the street if you can find a spot after normal 8-5 work hours.

Terrible pad Thai, made with ketchup! That isnt the way pad Thai is supposed to be made. My mom was happy with the fried rice, but the hot and soup was bland. It was hot but there wasnt much flavor to it. Server was friendly but when I sent my food back because it was so bad I couldnt eat it he didnt offer any suggestions. Im about to walk to a place next door and get food there instead. Mind you I NEVER do this but it was inedible for someone who likes traditional pad Thai.

This is my favorite Asian place in the Olympia area. Its not fancy but some of the dishes have a tremendous amont of flavor (including the Hong Kong noodles and the chicken wings). Also, if you let them know you want it hot, they will really spice it up for you. Ken, the son of the original owners, if the face of the place and a really friendly guy who is a bit of character. Its just one of those places where you always come away feeling you made a good choice for dinner.

Terrible service, waited over 30 mins in a nearly empty restaraunt for 1 entree and soup. Hot and sour soup tasted like it came from a cheap buffet, entree had very little meat in it and was burned. Entire meal was inedible and thrown in the trash. Staff had the audacity to come up and suggest after 20 mins of waiting that "no rush anyways right?" Will not be coming back....

Me and my mom absolutely love this place! It s great. Their peanut sauce is possibly the best peanut sauce Ive had, and my mom likes to joke that she could drink it from a jug. The staff are very friendly, especially if you there pretty often. Its a great little restaurant and I really miss going there. Cant wait to be able to go again once were back in Olympia.

WE MISS MINI SAIGON! One of the few regrets of moving home to New Hampshire. Simple but delicious food, very reasonably priced, and Ken is a great guy. Oh yeah, Im pretty sure they put crack in the peanut sauce, its that addicting. Definitely the best peanut sauce in the world!

Good food. Family owned. I had the chicken pad Thai with spicy level 3. Well be back again. I assume the waiter is the owner, nice guy. Expect to wait about 20 min for your food so order ahead if your on lunch break.

Very friendly and efficient service. Curry was seasoned and prepared well. It wasnt bland or strangely thick like the curry I had at the Lemon Grass restaurant around the corner. Decor here isnt as nice though.

The guy was really nice, it is great to see people find ways to make their job more enjoyable. The food was really good (I got the Pho and Spring rolls) and I cant wait to go back and try other things.

The guy is really funny. He has a dry sense of humor that I love. The almond chicken is really good. And it stay crispy with the sauce on it. The prices are really decent too. =)

Local Family owned, prepare to be harassed if you go too often, good portions and good food. Spring rolls are the best anywhere, not fried, fresh and fantastic.

I love this place. Inexpensive and consistently great food. Ken has a sarcastic wit (dont take him seriosly when he gives you a bad time) and a big heart.

Usually quiet and soothing. Great food and a friendly server. A little more expensive thank some other restaurants but it is defiantly worth it.
