Excellent food, always, as long as you are there for authentic, delicious, regular-person Mexican food. Its not Fusion or Upscale or Nova. Just great Mexican. Decor is very reminiscent of wonderful little places in Mexico. We went on the weekend, when a woman was hand grinding, hand pressing and lightly frying corn tortillas. I was offered the innovation that my shrimp quesadillas be made with those incredible delights. Mmmmm! Service is good if you remember youre a regular person and so are your servers. If you go in like an upper class patrón, maybe you wont get a smile. We got extra special service (like the proactive suggestion that they prepare my quesadilla with the handmade tortillas), perhaps because we treated our servers like neighbors. We have never been disappointed here. My wife loves a good margarita, and this place delivers every time. Servings are generous and prices reasonable.

This is the worst experience Ive ever had. After we ordered our food we waited for more than a half our while 2 tables that were seated after us received their orders. After waiting another 5 to 10 minutes we left out table and asked to speak to the manager. She was unconcerned with our complaint and could only say they were short staffed (which doesnt explain why 2 tables got served before us). Doesnt seem like some tacos and a burrito would take that long. My water glass sat on the edge of the table waiting to be refilled and they just kept passing by. I wish I could give a less then I star.

The waitress took our orders and then never spoke to us again...Seriously she never came back to our table. The cook brought out our food. Our waters, chips and salsa, and beers were never refilled and our plates were never cleared. It was the complete absence of service. After waiting about 15 minutes with a table full of empty plates and glasses we joked about dine and ditching (maybe that would get us some attention -Doubtful still.) So we estimated our bill and left it on the table. Its a shame though, the food is actually quite good.

This was a horrible experience. We thought we would try a new restaurant, but what a big mistake. The service was poor. Once the food was served, the waiter never came back. I had played it safe by ordering enchiladas. At first the food seemed okay but then I started tasting something icky now and then. After we finished eating, we waited and waited for the bill. Finally, we went up to the cashier without a bill. That night I threw up several times. We will never go back again.

This restaurant gave me and my friend who shared the dish food poisoning. When I called and asked for a manager none was available. I left my contact information and got no response. Then went in later that evening and was accused of lying from the manager. She asked "did I drink too much?" "was there anything else I could have eaten?" and said there was no way I couldve gotten sick from her food. She didnt even offer to compensate my meal. I will never eat at this restaurant again.

I will absolutely NEVER go back to this restaurant! Although the food was good, the manager/owner was the rudest person I have ever met! He has no sense of business or customer service at all! We were unhappy with our dining experience and he argued with us, degraded us, and even told us not to come back! I also am a business owner and I value my customers and would never treat anyone the way we were treated. If you want a nice dinner.....dont go there!!

Best Mexican food around McMinnville. The server (tall man shaved head) is very polite and patient with people. He makes a mean margarita and he was very honest when I asked him of his opinion on a food item. The margaritas are smooth and have a bite. I sit at the bar and see the chef through the window, very clean and professional. This family takes pride in their restraunt. Love it.

A party of 4 of us went there last night. Sat there for 45 minutes and only received a glass of water and a basket of chips. We had to get our own menus after eating only half the basket of chips. Nobody ever came to take our orders after 45 minutes. DONT FALL FOR THE FAKE REVIEWS..... THIS PLACE SUCKS! My one star review is only because of the water we received after 45 minutes.

Great traditional decor but poor service and just ok food. I have been to this restaurant at least 5 times and every time they make you feel more like an inconvenience then a customer. The staff is not rude but not friendly either. Also, as a previous reviewer stated, you dont see your waiter/waitress again. The food is very generic Mexican food. Its an ok place for a margarita.

After arriving, the hostess seated us in a small section with a large party (10+). No big deal, just a little awkward. The vegetarian options are... not good. We had enchiladas, and they straight up were just random vegetables in tortillas. The cheese fundito was inedible, and hard / chewy. The beer wasnt cold enough, but it was very refreshing.

Love the food! Very sad to have come here the last few times and received the worst service Ive ever gotten. rude staff made me asking for anything seem like a burden to them. Slamming plates on the table and leaving without saying a word. Bringing me a cup of ice when I asked for a drink. Bs. Great food just wish they would be in a Better mood

My family and I visited this restaurant at least each week when we lived in McMinnville. We recently moved to Portland and we still make it at least once per mpnth. The authentic food is excellent and the staff and owners are great! They are so friendly and they remember their customers.

Absolutely Fantastic. Went here just a couple hours ago , I must say this is the closest thing Ive had to Southern California Mexican food in Oregon ... And if you dont know what that means..... well ... Huge portions , seasoned to perfection, friendly and attentive staff....THANK YOU !

Favorite Mexican place in town. Great recipes, ambiance, and service too. The owners are really great people. In the summer its fun to sit at one of the outdoor tables and enjoy one of Americas most loved small town historic districts while sipping a giant margarita.

The atmosphere is great, I like the darker lighting. The food is very inexpensive, and I have enjoyed everything Ive ever tried off the menu. The service is usually really good, but sometimes they take a long time to check back at your table. But overall, its great!

Were locals. Our go-to Mexican restaurant. Portions are good, prices fair. Just dont get the shrimp dishes because they limit the amount of shrimp to four then fill the rest of the plate with lettuce and veggies. Other than that, no complaints so far.

Delicious food, friendly service, fresh tortillas made right near the front of the store. The fajitas were as tasty as I could have hoped. I have gone back there several times and will continuing going when I crave Mexican food.
