Service was horrible, people were nice but it took way too long for a menu and for drink orders. When waiting for someone to take our drink orders I noticed that other customer request were not being met. I had to asked 3 different servers for a Pepsi and still did not get it until I asked for the fourth time. Food was not authentic. Wings stated on menu that it came with a dressing and got nothing. I ordered the fish tacos and it was very plain, no flavor, although the rice was very good. We ordered mole wings as an appetizer and we got it with our main dish. Staff was not organized, writing on folded lined paper and no one had pens. Staff had poor memories as we had to ask for the same things over and over and still nothing. We will not be returning.

Probably the worst dining experience Ive ever had! Floors were filthy. Service was absolutely awful. Took forever to get our drinks which I am positive had no alcohol in it. We asked multiple people for chips which we never did get. The waitress did not want to be there and it showed. When it was time to pay she took our debit card for quite a while then returned saying we had to pay cash because their machine was down and pointed us to the nearest ATM. REALLY??? We stayed after our meal and talked quite a while and our plates were never removed and nobody ever came back to our table. In fact when we finally left there was not a server to be seen anywhere. Food was decent but will never return!!!

The waitresses dont know what theyre doing. They told us to sit anywhere. We waited 15 mins for our table to be cleaned. After 15 mins one of them was walking around lost with a rag in her hand and walked right past us. I had to tell her it was our table that needed cleansing. Waited another 10 mins for chips and water. 2 different waitreses came by a few times with food that was not ours they looked lost and confused. Weve gone there 4 times hoping they get better but the last time was the worst. They were "busy" this last time but not that busy that place isnt that big. Food, drinks and the set up are great but the girls working there need some serious help!

The people were nice, especially our waitress. Didnt catch her name, but she said she was from Columbia, so thanks again to her. As far a the food goes it was all smothered in heaps of dirty cilantro and that was about all you could taste. My husbands one side tamale was $3.25 or so and it was about the size of two fingers, I would say it was 50 cents worth of a tamale. The cheese wasnt melted on my beans, and they screwed me on the verde sauce. But, if you like overpriced, unseasoned Mexican food, then this is probably your kind of place.

Food was great!!! But the waitress and service was way under par. Then when I tried to pay my bill. I gave the waitress my debit card. Then she came back and said, the card reader wasnt working. Thank goodness I had cash with me. Plus the couple who were with us, same thing happened. Very disappointed. And the waitress told where the nearest ATM was located. Plus she never cleared our table after we ate.

We had 60 min to eat here, we ordered as soon as we sat down. 45 min later, I got my plate of cold to semi warm food. My melted cheese had already solidified. My friend whom I tried to share with, insisted I eat while we wait for her plate. 10 minutes later, I was done and we finally got her plate in time to box it and pay the bill. She had to eat it on the road.

I wish I could give them 10 stars out of this 5 stars ranking. Theyre the best Mexican restaurant in Salem, and second best in Oregon that I explored so far. Im from the border of Texas and that should say a lot. Super nice staff. A little to nice for my $1.50 street tacos but well worth the over hospitality with some margaritas!!

I will drive past the other 6 Mexican restaurants to get to this one. Warm inviting atmosphere. Food is fresh and you can tell it was made by someone who cares. I could tell that nothing came out of a can. I have had typical Mexican food that is good but Casa Rojas is a cut above the rest. Their drinks are also very good.

If I could give a minus I would, it took forever to get the drinks, waitress was rude and only came to the table to take the order. Food was way over priced and subpar, salsa was water thin pretty much tomatoe sauce, chips were cold. I could cook a better meal. Never will go back and Im pretty sure they wont be there long.

Excellent authentic Mexican food at a good price. Great selection of drinks. Two tvs in the bar area for sports. Friendly service. Shrimp was amazing. Great chorizo and the rice is some of the best Ive ever had. Salsa was good despite not being spicy but thats a personal preference. Will definitely be eating here again!

Best margarita ever with lots of Tequila. The fresh stuffed jalapeno poppers wrapped with bacon to die for. Staff was so friendly I didnt want to leave. I would suggest that one waitress stick with one customer at a time. We had so many ladies at our table throughout the whole dinner we didnt know who to tip.

Food is great but they really need to get a mangment team in there. They have a bunch employees running around like headless chickens there is no organization which turns into long wait times. Is a brand new restaurant and I really hope they get their stuff together because food and drinks are great.

I have been there twice and enjoyed the experience very much. The food was very good with generous portions and the service was great. Many choices for margaritas, the one made from fresh fruit when you order it was fantastic. Also a good choice for happy hour.

Best Mexican restaurant ever, and that is in a lifetime of experience. It was the fresh chili relleno that hooked me. This is a new restaurant in town and I want it to succeed spectacularly so I can go back often.

Lots of margarita options (I recommend the Fresh or the Spicy Watermelon). Friendly staff. Food is decent, the vegetarian enchiladas were just potatoes though...which was odd. Bottomless mimosas on Sundays!
