Certainly tasty brisket and sides. Polite service. Nice atmosphere. A nice place to sit down and eat! Maybe its just their sauce, since it is very light, which isnt a bad or a good thing, it just didnt make the brisket "pop" like other barbecue sauces do. Nevertheless, the brisket was very good. My brisket with two sides and no drink cost $15. A little expensive. But this is Houston. They have to pay a premium for their property lot. Thanks for the dinner! :-)

Some of the worst BBQ Ive ever had. Got a poboy platter with sliced brisket (which was not seasoned at all, but just covered in sauce that masked the terrible flavor of the meat) for lunch on Tuesday, was informed it would cost a little more ( almost double) because it was take out. It came with fries that are too hard to even eat. It seems like they kept them under a heat lamp for a few hours. I WILL NOT be returning here no matter what the circumstances.

My wife and I were looking for the other location and ended up here. Couldnt finish food and immediately had stomach cramps. If you like beans that taste straight from the can. meat that has sat out all day and just warmed up on a dirty grill and silverwear that wouldnt bring a penny in a yard sale; well this place is for you. Otherwise eat somewhere else. I honestly felt like gagging myself just to get the food out of my body.

We wanted to try a new BBQ place, we usually go to Rudys or Pappas. My girlfriend got the chopped beef sandwich and tator salad. She says the sandwich was ok. But the tator salad had no taste. I got the 3 meat plate. The brisket was tender but really didnt have much flavor, the ribs was ok, and the sausage had a texture that I didnt care for. Needless to say we will be sticking to with the places that we know is good.

This is a great BBQ place for brisket. They have a nice light sauce they put on it, which is very bold of them. It means their meat has to be very good because they arent masking it with the sauce. It was not over smoked and it was the proper consistency. Im only knocking off a star because the fries were all soggy. So my advice is just get a different side

Best bbq in Houston. From the brisket to the fries and dont forget the sauce that this family recipe had come up with over 20 years ago. The brisket is very tender and smoked. This is true bbq. Dont waste your money at any chain so called bbq restraunt. This here is amazing. The service is great and they also do private partys and catering.

Not a fan. Very nice décor, service and ambiance, but you can get tough brisket anywhere. Well, actually, tough brisket is not easy to find at a BBQ place. Most places get at least the tenderness right, but not Demeris. I had to tug and pull and chew, chew, chew to get through the sliced beef sandwich I had here. Not again.

I usually get a pulled pork sandwich or the hoffy burger. Seriously delicious and fresh food with the option of drive thru service or pick up with friendly service. There is also a decent sized patio and full bar for watching sports or whatever youre in to. Over all it is a great local spot for bbq and good eats.

Love it, been coming for years since before they moved to the current spot. Granted everyone has their own tastes in bbq, however this place can stand up at the top in my opinion. I havent found anything on the menu that I dislike. I recommend coming to this location others just dont compare.

I have been to this place three times and have been served twice with less than good service. It looks like this place used to be good, many friends of mine used to go there but the last two times its been worst for us.. I may come back if they improve service and good quality. Well see..

I order the chicken sandwich with fries. The sandwich was average and the fries was greasy. If you are really hungry and on the run, this is the place. We only waited about 5 minutes, but that was because it was a Saturday afternoon. Overall, i actually rate this place a 3 out of 5

The food tasted good but the chef salad was a little lacking. It only had tomatoes and lettuce. The fajita beef was good but a little fatty. Im surprised the fajita beef didnt include onions and green peppers its just plain beef. The service is quick though which is nice

I have frequented demeris for over 20 years, and I still get the chopped beef sandwich w fries every time. I don’t go as often as I would like since I live in Katy, but if I am in the area I make it a point to stop. I think demeris is an underrated bbq joint IMO.

Awesome experience!! Was clean, staff friendly and helpful, food was delicious with very large portions. In fact this may be one of the last bbq joints to still serve a Huge baked potato. In particular Im very picky about my sauce not being sweet

Above-average bbq, fast service, and reasonably priced. Been a regular for over 10 years--Im realistic about the quality (its no Franklins or Killens), but its certainly good enough to keep me coming back. Try the Chicken Hoffy. Love the fries.

Food is great!!! I have had the ribs, bar-barito and chopped beef on several occasions. Service is good as well. There was a discrepancy in the price on my online order, and Mr. Demaris personally took care of it the very next day.

Try the brisket! This is a place that shows how much they love what they do! Oh btw if you into any sports THIS IS THE SPOT! Decent prices for great food. Btw the brothers that run the place are amazing

Very nice & clean. Staff are very professional and, helpful, however the food was not at all what I hoped for, SUPER disappointed. Ill be driving to Crosby anytime I want chopped beef! =/

Fajita beef is too red and not cooked long enough for my liking. Extra options on baked potatoes isnt actually extra unless the normal is stingy as hell

Food was great...my first time in Texas (Im Canadian) and this was the BBQ selected as it was not far from our hotel. However it was not cheap.

Its good barbecue, good atmosphere. I would definitely stop by if youre in the neighborhood but there are plenty of better places in Houston.
