---------UPDATE!!!---------- DO NOT EAT HERE. My husbands parents, his brother, and his brothers family ate here a few days ago. They ALL got EXTREMELY sick. The kids were nearly taken to the hospital. My inlaws say that this isnt the only time theyve been sick. (Dont ask me why they kept going back after getting sick multiple times.) They said they even caught the server recycling used salsa. Which explains why it was so salty all the time. Ive had my suspicion about the salsa being reused for a while. But we didnt eat here enough for us to get sick on one of their "dirty" days or anything. IM JUST SO DISGUSTED ABOUT THE RECYCLED SALSA. THATS HOW DISEASES SPREAD, YOU INCONSIDERATE IDIOTS! This place has gone down hill into the septic regions. I will NEVER EVER EVER eat here again. It would have to be a brand new restaurant with different owners before I come back. Dont be surprised if this place closes down soon. -------------------------------------- (My old review. Notice how I said the salsa was salty? Either they were over salting it to help kill bacteria when recycling it, or it became salty because they just kept adding to the same bowls of salsa on each table. EWWWWW!!!) The food is pretty good here. Service is hit or miss. Some of them are really nice and check to make sure you have everything you need. Some really couldnt care less. (Im thinking of one in particular. Mostly the one.) The only complaint I have about the food is the salsa. Some times its good. Sometimes ITS SO SALTY, YOU CAN SEE SALT CRYSTALS IN THE BOWL! Its weird, in the whole restaurant, thats the only thing they over salt.

Not sure if it was the server, or table being wiped with musty rags, but something had a FUNK. Like mildew. My husband sent back his chimichanga, which I had to convince him to do, since he never complains. However he wouldnt even eat it because it tasted like old grease. He asked for a chicken taco instead, and didnt finish it either. This is very out of character for my SO, he usually eats everything without complaint. My fajitas were okay, standard Mexican restaurant fair, and the kids seemed to like their nachos and quesadillas. After we apologized to the waitress and asked for my husband a new entree, she took his plate, and disappeared, sending another waitress to serve us. She was still serving the people around us, and we had not been rude, even apologizing to her, that he didnt like it. So, not sure. Anyway, we have been happier skipping this place, the food, service, and atmosphere were okay, but left a lot to be desired, even for a standard "Mexican" restaurant.

This is my favorite mexican place in McMinnville- the chicken fajitas are incredible; the pollo a la crema is also amazing; the fish and shrimp ceviche- fresh, tangy, perfect. Get a 1800 strawberry margarita on the rocks- they make them perfectly! Wait staff is always very nice and friendly, we have the same 2 waiters almost every time we go. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated with frescoes and carvings of lilys everywhere. We have never ventured over to the lounge side, so no input there, but the restaurant is great.

Visited for my first and last time last week. Was sat and not greeted for 10 plus minutes finaly get chips and salsa and the lady just takes off no drink or taken or anything. After almost 15 min I was about to get up and walk out but the server came so we stayed. We order our food and I got skirt steak. I would say Carne asada but they didnt marinate it so it had ZERO flavor. Literally found more flavor in the piece of meat that was burned than the rest of the steak. Very very dissatisfied

Nothing authentic. Tortillas are the same as the ones you can get in any store. The enchiladas sauce tasted like watered down ketchup. The queso fundido was melted velveta cheese with no seasoning in it, just a couple of diced tomato chunks. The horchata tasted like plain old milk out of my refrigerator. And the price, ha!! I will never, ever darken their door again. First time and last time. Any other Mexican restaurant has got to be better than this. STAY AWAY!!!

The chicken in the chimichanga was extremely dry and bland. My 10-year-old son and I went on a date here. I think the waitress thought we werent worth her time because after we were served it was very hard to get service. I had to stand up and start to head towards the register just to get someone to ask how our meal was and if we needed a box. By this time, we had decided that we just wanted to pay and go; a to-go box was definitely not needed.

The WORST service: drinks came AFTER the meal, no one came to check on us after we got our food, chips sat empty, water sat empty. Salsa was tomato juice with green onions (disgusting). You could smell the fajitas burning all 3 times they were brought out of the kitchen, the last one so bad it actually set off the smoke alarm. NEVER AGAIN

Im thinking that the restaurant has changed ownership. It used to be a second to none. A restaurant that we looked forward to eat at again. Today, Id drive right past it without blinking an eye. The food wasnt that good, just fare. The service, well after they delivered the food we didnt see the waiterss or a waiter. My rating is 1.5!

Amazing service, workers here are super friendly. I definately vote this the best Mexican Restaurant in town! The food is delicious. I come here twice a month and have tried various foods. The value is better! Low prices, for great food, especially during lunch hour. They always have a clean environment, along with amazing service.

Gone downhill. Dirty menus that need to be cleaned, filthy Windows inside and out, poor service with a couple of the female waitresses. The male waiters are good. Needs a good cleaning and faster service. It should not take 40 mins to get drinks you ordered.

Great food served hot! Staff allowed us to visit for an extended period of time - hint I tip extra if they keep topping off drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean and welcoming!

The best lunch deal in Mac. They have a $5 lunch special that will fill you up... a burrito, chips/salsa and a soda. Cant beat that, especially in a sit-down restaurant.
