Will never come here again. Theyve recently sold and gotten new owners, but even with the old owners and old waitresses the service wasnt good. A group of between 8-12 of us have gone there once a month for at least 3-4 years, and never once have they put an automatic gratuity on our bills until tonight, then the little twit who put the tip on, wrote 8% and an amount and circled it. She obviously has absolute no concept of how to run a calculater, because the way she had it, it was a 25% tip, not 8%. Plus the service we got was extremely rude, and rather slow. Some of the meals werent even done correctly or done how they were requested. Id ordered a grande tostada, and instead of ground beef browned, they took an already cooked premade hamburger patty, chunked it and put on top of everything and the hamburger patty was cold. This place needs to be shut down.

I have never been to this place, we decided to try it today. Its definitely old school but very clean. The wait staff were very attentive. The food was amazing. I was shocked. I expected edible but not much more. I am so picky on eggs, over medium no runny whites...my eggs were perfect! The French toast was not soggy and not over done, just perfect. Now the bacon, I have been to breakfast houses that cant cook bacon correctly, this was just right. Chewy but not too crispy, not super greasy, very nice. Hash browns, nice and crispy no mush. The sausage links were not bad, just not my preference, but for someone who loves sausage, probably ok. Overall we were very please and will return. We visited on a very busy Sunday, very pleased with our service.

This place was my favorite breakfast spot in Hillsboro for years until I moved away 3 years ago I came back for a visit and of course I had to do my breafast here and I was happy to find the food was still as good as I remembered, however they did change brands of patty sausage I like the original sausage better but this was still.good. Very friendly and attentive staff. I will eat most of my breakfast here while Im in town. I am sorry to read that some customers were not happy and some thought the staff were rude. It may be a cultural thing an the customers just have not been around different cultures. My advice is "get over it" they are really nice people and want to serve you well.

Probably one of the worst restaurants Ive been in, in the Portland area. The service was slow and the server was rude, acting as if she absolutely hated her job... which at the look of the place I cant blame her I suppose. Extremely outdated in every sense as if I took a time warp back to the early 80s but without the fun hairbands. Menu was old and falling apart with items crossed out in black marker rather than having new menus reprinted. Booth I sat in was falling apart. Food was tasteless slop... will never go again.

Never in my whole life had a Denver omelet without cheese. I looked up recipes on the internet and all of them had cheese in it. I question the waitress and was told she would get me another omelet. She came back to the table and told me the Denver omelet doesnt come with cheese and left the table. I was disappointed she didnt offer any kind of resolution. I feel a class in customer service as well as cooking is needed.

Good food, clean restaurant with fair pricing, and good service. I do not usually give any place a perfect rating, nothing is perfect! However, after spending the past 5 weeks on the road and coming into this restaurant I decided they deserved more than 4 and the only other option was 5 - so they deserved it!

They are the most rude group of people in one place period.! It took 30min to get one order of eggs and hash browns. I was in the bathroom with the cook, and he didnt even wash his hands. I think the one that was really rude was named Kelly. Dont eat there! p.s. there is such thing as green eggs and ham!

We hsve breakfast here every Sunday morning after church. The staff treats us like family and knows us all by our first names. We have a large group that comes. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. My husband and I also come to Sunset Grill for other meals beause it is such a good place to eat.

Chicken sandwich was too tough to cut easily with a table knife. I tried a bite and it was too chewy to eat. My husband told the employee and he simply shrugged his shoulders. I would not recommend eating at this establishment.

The food is good, cheap and in very good proportions for the price. Never been busy, service is a little slow but no worse then most places. Been here many times and will continue to be a return customer.

Smelled like stale cigarettes and coffee was watery and expensive. Corned beef hash was good though.
