This is one of the BEST AUTHENTIC Italian restaurants in southern OC! Ive been going to all of their locations since they opened their first location in Lake Forest over 30 years ago. Their food is fantastic and is as good as the authentic Italian food on the east coast where Im originally from. If you want quality authentic Italian, this is one of the finest restaurants in south OC to get it. I love the Lina Rolls and the Stromboli for a quick bite or for dinner. My favorite sit down meals are their Fettuccini Superiore!!! or their eggplant parmigiana or their Puttanesca pasta. Their minestrone soup is so good that I sometimes just go in to get soup only. Meatballs are tasty too. I only wish that their prices had not gone up, because my income hasnt really gone up...if it had, Id visit them much more often like I used to. Any coupons???! ;) Thanks for the authentic quality Italian food all these years and the family owned caring customer service!!

Server did not acknowledge me standing there waiting for service for several minutes, although she looked at me several times. After being seated, when we asked what was good, she said "Everything is good, it depends on what you like" which is cop-out and non-answer. She did not place my wifes order. Expensive; pasta was $20 when ordered with two thin strips of chicken on top. Vinegar and oil on the tables are cheap, sour without flavor. Lastly, the restaurant is dark and looks dingy inside.

I havent had their food, but their bar advertises specials that either do not exist, or have a bunch of exceptions. I ordered a martini with well gin, expecting to get the well-liquor cocktail special, but ended up paying full price. The bartender never told me that the martini cost more than any other well-liquor cocktail. I was a little disappointed that they didnt mention that, given the fact that my coworkers were all ordering well-liquor cocktails to take advantage of the special.

Peppinos is one of may favorite places to eat. Great atmosphere, excellent Italian food. They also have a huge bar with lots of TVs in case you want to watch a game there. They have a good variety of appetizers and happy hour prices a a great deal. The chicken strips come with ranch and wing sauce, they are my favorite! All around solid place whether you want a nice family dinner or just drinks and apps.

With a recently expanded bar area still offering the full service menu, with multiple TVs showcasing sports and live entertainment on Friday/Saturday nights and a wholesome garlicky and very filling dinner, we love to come here at least once every 2 weeks. Huge portions of good Italian food. I think they should reduce the size so you can have entree or desert with the meal. Now impossible unless you stop eating to leave space. Place really nice inside and really busy the night we went. Go early to get a seat. Waitress was nice, fast and error free. Recommend this place

Everything on the menu is fabulous..... have a clue what kind of Italian food your in the mood for.... the waitress isnt a mind reader...give me a break!

Ive been there lot of times, but today lot of customers, I understand that. When we got there, and we were five, no available table and they said 25 mins. We waited for 45 mins. Then had orders. Now were waiting for the foods for 40 mins now. Change your system!!!! Very poor service!!!

Always delicious meals, great service and super catering! Over 20 years ago, we followed the rich garlicy smells on Rockfield with our noses till we found this place. Been coming here ever since. Better than (or at least pretty darn close to) your Italian Grandmas cooking!

It smells bad inside. The halibut that came with the salad was very far from fresh although the rest of the salad was ok. Had stomach problems after lunch. The pasta was harmless, but the portions are not human size. I would prefer smaller portions and better quality.

Believe everyone when they say the portions are huge. We tried the Posta Toscana, spaghetti with marinara, linguine with clam sauce and meat lasagna. All were excellent. The marinara sauce was oh so tasty. The ambience is home style, family friendly. Well be back.

Great family restaurant. Good food with generous portions. Nothing fancy with presentation or ambiance, so it may not be suitable for a special occasion. Did not sample any wines on my last visit. Can get crowded, especially on weekends, so plan accordingly.

We came in for a birthday dinner with friends and family. We had great service and great food! Our waitress ( Nikki I believe) was absolutely incredible, she made the evening seamless and even more special. Peppinos is truly a family restaurant.

I think I may only visit amazing places. I didnt really eat much, but I did sit in the bar, watched some USC football and listened to live music while drinking some potent drinks! Had a good time, and really, isnt that what life is about?

Came here for lunch. The prices are over exaggerated for the quality of food that is being served. Would not say that the food is bad but definitely not what I expected. Probably wont be coming back at least for there lunch "special".

Wait was longer than reported, service was slow, and food was expensive for being average. Most redemptive part of our restaurant experience was our server, John, who was awesome. Place does seem to be very popular with locals, though.

Food was amazing. Calamari, eggplant, salad...I mean nothing was bad. And staff was super nice. Very kid friendly and the live music was a plus. Tip: if its crowded, the bar side has plenty of room and will also seat larger kids.

Overpriced and nothing special. There was a hair in my friends ravioli that we got a discount of $6. Thanks but I am willing to pay full price for cleaner food! Surprising for a place that claims to be super clean in the kitchen.

Ive been a semi-regular at Peppinos for nearly 4 years now. The quality is both good and consistent. I really enjoy their basil pesto sauce, and if you want some customizations done, they never bat an eye.
