This is by far my favorite lunch spot. Ive been here for dinner but the lunch special is what really tops the cake. Im in the Army and Im always looking for a quick lunch but Im just not into most fast food. For lunch during the week, they have a pizza buffet with a few side pastas and salad dishes. They rotate different pizzas out to keep things fresh and each one Ive tried Ive been happy with. I dont think Ive ever seen the bottom of my drink and it always seems to be at the table right as Im getting there with my pizza slices. There has been a few times Ive looked over the pizzas and wasnt ecstatic about my options even though they keep a rotations but when this happens I always feel comfortable asking the waiter/waitress if they can make a certain kind and they always do it up just right. Blows my mind they cater the pizza menu to what customers are asking for, This might not sound like a big deal but Ive never been to a buffet place that offered to fry up some chicken for me since I missed yesterdays menu. To me, this rocks. The lunch buffet also helps me find the pizzas that are my favorite so when I bring visiting friends or family there for dinner, I can recommend what I think is the best. Their beer selection is commendable and the bartender seemed pretty knowledgeable when ever I go. Im going to let you in a a secret. The brown sugar pizza is really good. Its also a pizza that you stalk the counter for when it comes out. Ive had the waitress bring out a second pizza straight to the table because she set it out and before she could make her rounds to tell me, it was already gone. I didnt even ask her too, thats how cool they are there! Now I ask for it every time for a dessert. I know, I know, sugar on a pizza, but Im not done, I get way weirder. I dip it in ranch. WHAT!!! Yup, I dont know what it is but is really good and I found out recently that Im not the only one to do it. Its like every ones weird little secret. They all give that lip twitch look on their face like Im crazy and then they start doing it too. I can honestly say I bring this place up every time lunch is in question. Its too good and what more could you possibly ask for with a flat rate bill. I just hope all the special treatment I get just isnt because Im in uniform. I doubt it but they are super military friendly and they treat us right. You wont regret this place.

Here is a letter I just sent to corperate about The Rock...need I say more! My boyfriend and I drove up from Portland, OR to Lacey, WA yesterday to go to Cabelas. When we were done we got out our GPS and searched for restaurants. We chose to eat at The Rock and what a great choice it was! My boyfriend and I are single with no kids, so unfortunately, we eat out way more than we should. I cant tell you how long its been since weve had a great experience like we did yesterday! I cant stop raving about how great the service, pizza, and beer was! We arrived around 6pm yesterday and Dupre was our server. He was awesome! We didnt have to wait on anything, he was on top of all of our refills, and he had a great personality. Told us a thing or two about the place and the beer! I cant say enough good things about him alone! Oh and he kindly let us know that the Vancouver, WA location just opened! We already have plans to go there next week. Not only that, but my mom flys in at the end of the month from Wisconsin.....and we are taking her there! We have allowed time to eat out once while shes here and we are taking her to The Rock! Now let me go on to raving about the beer! You guys are sitting on a cash crop and you need to start selling it! I had the Honey Wheat beer and I dont know what Im going to do now that Ive discovered it! I liked it better than Blue Moon! I spoke to a manager on site yesterday and she mentioned that people ask about buying it all the time. You have to find a way to sell it! Even if its a growler...please! And your pizza! Wow is all I can say. Im not a huge pizza lover, its actually a little weird that we even ended up at a pizza location because I just dont crave pizza. But I do now. Your pizza was the best pizza Ive had in my life! We had half My Generation and half The founders Pie. Wow...yum...and wow! I just wanted to send this email because I dont feel that enough people call to compliment. I hope you are able to pass along this email so the appropriate people can see it. I will definitely be recommending and returning to The Rock!

The pizza was awesome. The service was great. The wait was horrible (why it wasnt 5 stars). It was in the 90s outside and there was only two little benches inside to wait. As other reviewers stated they get very busy, so this is something the should be fully aware of and, they should get some kind of outdoor seating to help with that. This is thin crust east coast style pizza so people that (incorrectly) think good pizza should be a soggy, sloppy mess with 3" of cheap toppings on it should go elsewhere, unless they want an education on what decent pizza is like. The red sauce is fabulous, mostly crushed tomato, not some homogenized, pureed floor scrapings from the tomato factory. Minimal toppings, but they have good quality ingredients. The Drinks are fabulous. People in my party had the "skinny" bucket, the "dont fear the reaper" bucket and, the "lava lamp". I got to sample all 3, and they all tasted like fruity candy. My personal fav would probably be the bloody mary, but as I was driving, it will have to wait for the next time. There will be a next time.

There are two ways to enjoy this restaurant, the lunch buffet or dinner. The lunch buffet is my favorite. There are many pizzas available from the basics to their signature exotics. Also there is salad, pasta, and dessert (cookies or brownies). You can order from their full menu anytime. They theme the signature pizzas after song titles ("The Rock" theme), as well as their advertised bar selections. The restaurant is themed like a half destroyed building, damaged brick walls separating the bar from the family area. Rock album covers on the walls. "industrial" lighting. It comes together well. The plasma screens are always showing the sports networks. The staff is friendly and service is prompt. A good team. Bonus: on your receipt there is a $5 off coupon for your next visit Sunday-Thursday. Revision: the lunch buffet is not as good as it once was, the turnover is a little slower so some of the items are no longer as hot as one would expect.

Not the best experience for sure. Would give zero stars if I could. Would not recommend unless you have several hours to get food and eat. We have had a quicker turn around in fancy restaurants. We went in on Veterans Day 2016. It was busy, but we only waited 5 minutes to be seated. We had over an hour to waste before a doctor appointment so we made sure to order quick and easy food. We also looked around to make sure that most everyone had been served so there shouldnt be a back up in the kitchen. We ordered 2 sodas and 2 sandwiches at 12:15. At 1:30 after drinking a half of a soda and watching only 2 things come out of the kitchen in over an hour, we had to cancel our order and leave for our appointment still hungry. I was surprised after waiting as long as we did and receiving no lunch, that I was actually charged $6.52 for 2 sodas that never even got refilled. Crappy customer service and slow as molasses.
