Some days two stars is not enough, but last visit was a two star day. We have been coming here for 7 years now, and the food is maddenly uneven. Of course I get the same thing most visits, so not a very fair critique. At times the chille rellenos are delicious, fresh chilles, bubbly white Mexican cheese, good batter. However twice in recent months, the chilles tasted as if were straight out of can, no color, dull, no texture. Not the same. Some pieces sprinkled on top for good measure. When I questioned the server about this, she said she had never heard of canned chilles. I googled it and showed her what I thought I was eating. When I asked to talk to the manager, she said he was too busy. It was 2:00 pm and we were the only customers there. The server had also forgotten to bring us tortilla chips and salsa until I reminded her as I was looking around for something else to eat, having donated my chille relleno to my husband who will happily eat almost anything I hand over. So, I was left with the tortilla chips, and figured better than nothing. Wrong! I couldnt expel that one bite of a very strong, oily fishy tasting tortilla chip out of my mouth fast enough. They do have a fair amount of fish items and my guess is their oil should have been replaced. That was a new first there. It was irritating to watch my husband chowing down on his meal, my meal and now these particular chips. Ugh. The tamale luckily was decent which isnt always the case. A month or so ago, mine tasted smoky as though either it or something cooked near it had burned. This place used to get an okay to good lunch crowd, and we were a little late the last two visits, but still there is an ominous lack of people there. When the fancy new menus with the even fancier prices arrived a while back, less people seemed to show up. The parking lot is often eerily empty. I lament it when a restaurant doesnt attempt to retain customers with a treat for a screw up or offer something taken off the bill for inedible food. If I werent such a lousy cook, Id just eat at home more often.

If youre looking for the worst service, cold and burnt food, and ants on your plate, then this is the place for you! The waitress was condescending and confrontational, she only came around once....to rush us out with our bill. We never were checked on, didnt get offered boxes, and literally had ants all over the table, food and in the salt shakers. When i spoke with the manager, the waitress popped in and began arguing with me. These people are so unprofessional and disgusting. The fact that this "restaurant" is still in business is unbelievable. It was an absolute joke, and you couldnt pay me to go back. Those who are giving positive feedback on here have to either be employees or acquainted with them

This place needs to be shut down! The service is the worst we have ever experienced. Right when we were seated the waitress was very rude and combative, there were several ants in every single salt shaker near us, and the food was cold. When we brought up everything to the staff and management they were inconsiderate and pointed out the obvious, that yes they have an ant problem. AVOID this place!!

Just took my mother out for mothers day dinner, understood it was a busy night but when it 2 hours later still no food my mother asked about how much longer it would be to the owner or so called manager he was disrespectful and rude to her , we were customers to this restaurant for 10 + years and this was the last time we will go there again .

Sitting here in the parking lot still trying to hold down what little I ate of my meal. Found not one but TWO hairs in my food. I told the lady I was ready for my plate to be taken. Handed her the hair and told her would not be paying for my meal. She handled it okay but was very bothered by not wanting to pay for it.

This place is HORRIBLE! I had what they called a Chile Rieno. The grease was soo horrible that it tasted like a dead dog. I will NEVER go there again. There are many better places to eat, And this is NOT one of them! P.S. I would recommend the little blue porta-potty across the street over this "Restraunt".

Sat in this restaurant for 15 minutes waiting and waiting and waiting. Had watered down salsa and a non existent waitress. Not very busy far a Saturday night and even less busy when we got up and left. Im sure the staff still doesnt know as they were too busy in the bar to take care of families.

Our first visit, but not our last. Stopped in after Tulip Festival for lunch. I ordered a taco salad and my husband ordered enchiladas. Best taco salad I have ever had and my husband said the same. The salsa was good as well as the guacamole. Our service was superb. A great find!

We have had both good AND bad experiences here but the food is consistantly pretty good. Its never really very busy so you are seated fast usually, however, we have been there and had to call out for someone to come seat us.Well continue going because its close to home.

This is the best Mexican food Ive had in Oregon. The tortillas and refried beans are perfect, the ground beef enchiladas and cheese enchiladas are excellent. Cant recommend the chicken. Service was sweet but a little understaffed. I would definitely come back.

today is mothers day, i told husband all i want is a Molcajete Azteca from los cabos! thats one of my favs i love there food, we have been eating there for over 7 years or so, i love it! and i will always go back for more!!

Always great food and very friendly staff. The place gets busy at times but well worth the wait on any given day. My family and I have never had a bad meal at this place and tell everyone we know about it.

The food was very good, and the price are fair especially considering the large portions. Only knock is slow service. Good attitude, just took too long between visits to table. Will definately go back.
