Great prices ($3-ish for the Asian sandwiches) on the banh mi; a bit spendy for the drinks ($4 for the avocado shake, but it IS pretty huge.) Overall, I liked the sandwich a lot (#9), but the shake was a bit too sweet and didnt have enough avocado flavor for my tastes. Going to try a thai iced tea next time I think, and a teriyaki chicken sandwich. Their menu is a bit outdated on the website, as theyve added far more options since it was last changed. Parking at this location is fine and getting to it is really easy. Service was fast and I liked that I could see my order on the screen as I ordered it, to make sure I was getting what I wanted. Overall, a really nice place for a cheap take-out lunch!

I dont know if Best Baguette is my favorite banh mi place because its the first one I ever tried, or because of the obscene amount of kewpie mayo they use on each sandwich, but I love it. The prices are excellent ($3.50-$4 for a giant sandwich), and the service is extremely friendly. (A fair amount of the employees seem to be native English speakers, so they can walk you through what youre getting if youre new to Vietnamese meats and bubble tea.) I always get the grilled pork, hold the jalapeno, and add Sriracha and Maggi Seasoning at the condiment station. The baked goods are also excellent and very cheap, so if you just need a baguette to go with dinner, this is a great stop.

Lets see . . . two fairly substantial sandwiches with a $2.00 tip . . . out the door for $8.60. Delicious combinations of various meat and veggie possibilities, all served on a fresh-baked baguette. I would rate this one of the most amazing bargains in all of Portland area. The seating is just serviceable, but at these prices you arent looking to be pampered. Nonetheless, the staff is quite friendly; the sandwiches come out very quickly; and the result is delicious. If theres something you dont like on the bahn mi, just say so - - they will customize to your taste (yes or no on jalapeños; more or less mayo; and so on.)

Best and most like oiriginal banh mi in Oregon! Lees sandwiches also recently opened but it was nothing compared to BB. Mostly get the Veggie #12 and have recently add in eggs for an extra $1. Wish they would go a bit easy on the mayo sauce or do a better job spreading it out so I dont bite into chunks of sauce, especially at the ends. Love the quality of the bread, crunchy on the outside and smells delicious! They also sell them separately! place includes various pastries and a wide range of drinks. Each item $2-$5.

I come here for lunch frequently and Ive never been disappointed. The staff is super friendly and the service is fantastic; they always get your food out to you pretty fast even when its busy. The banh mi is incredible, and cheap too. For around 5$ you can get a huge baguette sandwich and a bag of chips, it should be enough to fill up almost anybody. Everything is always really fresh, and you can choose from a large selection of reasonably prices tea/coffee/bubble teas and mix ins as well.

Fresh Squeeze Orange Juice is on the menu but not an item people want all day, its the chemical bubble tea that people order, so the business doesnt stock up on oranges. I paid full price for a 3/4 small size cup? Sorry, we only have 2 1/2 oranges left. Really? Fresh Squeeze means you use your hands, not a machine that squeeze, so touching all over my juice. Are yours hands cleaned? No! Not again. I wont give them my money again. Nobody is going to care about this comment.

Theres only 2 places I know of that serve banh mi on the Westside. Thats enough for 4.5 stars on its own. Freshly baked baguettes and under $3 put it over the top. The pickled veggies on a banh mi always rounds out the flavor. One can only hope the hipsters and fusioners dont get a hold on banh mi and turn it into another $10 portland sandwich. Step away from the $5 foot long and taste a sandwich made with flavor and love.

Fast, the bread is made fresh and cheap. At first when you see the footlong baguette (and there are more then 20 options of what youd like on it) you may think you wont be able to finish it- but you will be wrong. Its so good you will be done with it before you realize it! Be careful with the lil chopped hot peppers- dont eat the sandwich, touch the peppers, and then rub your eye!

If youre craving Bahn Mi, this is the place for you. They have a variety of Asian style sandwiches as well as French. They have sandwiches using croissants and offer a lot of other treats like Bubble Tea (aka Boba). Heck, if you dont know whether you like Bahn Mi, just stop by and give it a try. Youll probably like it after you eat at this place. #GoogleCityExpert #PDXCityExperts

Theyre not kidding, they really are the best Vietnamese-style baguettes: crunchy and flaky outside, airy with just enough chew on the inside. The bread really is the star here, but the insides of the sandwiches are exactly what youd expect from legit banh mi. Id have a sandwich from here over one that cost twice as much from some "Vietnamese bistro" any day of the week.

Love this place. Still think the #1 is the best sandwich. And if you dont know what head cheese is before you try it, dont look it up! I had 3 of these sandwiches before I actually decided to inquire about what was making my sandwich so delicious. Still eating the #1! Dont forget to get some almond cookies, or ANYTHING else from their bakery items.

I love this place, but i was dissapointed to see a staff member unloading the baguettes out on to the assembly line, when she dropped one on the floor and picked it up and put it back with the others. She didnt care to even look around to see me sitting right in front of her watching everything. I wonder what else happens when no one is watching.

Fresh sandwich French-Vietnamese style. It is like an Asian subway, sandwiches made fresh per order at an incredibly good price. The bubble tea is soft and expertly done, probably the best in the area. It offers Vietnamese iced coffee, with optional bubble tea, strong and creamy - guaranteed to please coffee lovers.

This place has one of the best banh mi and bubble tea in the area. The banh mi is very flavorful and fresh. The prices for the sandwiches are pretty reasonable. The selection is good and the dining area appears to be clean. The service is prompt and friendly. The parking can be crowded during busy hours, however.

I love this eatery! Food is delicious. Prices are not so bad. Friendly employees. I highly recommend their bubble tea and their # 12 asian vegetable to individuals that are vegetarians. This place gets very busy around lunch time and dinner time so I suggest to come to this place an hour or two before the rush

Good sandwiches, good fresh bread at a great price. When I first saw how cheap the sandwiches were I was skeptical on the quality of the food but it tasted really good. They put carrots that taste sweeter that dont taste to well outside of the sandwich but in with everything else its delicious and cheap.
