Their food is delicious! The sushi is super fresh, especially the salmon. I, also, personally love their California rolls as well as Beauty and the Beast. Its totally worth the money! Ive tried many other sushi eateries, but none of the other restaurants had as fresh and delicious fish as Mio Sushi. The service is amazing too. I dont understand all these hate comments, because all the waitresses are very kind and helpful. They come by every now and then to check up on the food. Even though the waitresses looked pretty busy, they never looked down and was very cheerful. I, also, really liked how there was a small park with a mini waterfall in front of the restaurant. Little children were playing in the waterfall and they seemed really pleased. I really do recommend Mio Sushi as a very good eatery and is perfect for summer dinning.

We arrived 15 minutes before happy hour ended, were seated, but didnt get served until 3 minutes after happy hour was over - despite several attempts to place our order before happy hour was over. Then we ordered our dinner. After over 30 minutes something, I dont know what it was, was thrown on the table and the waiter was off. We finally called her over, said this wasnt ours, and when could we expect our food. A little later, three of our four meals arrived. The fourth meal didnt arrive until over an hour later, after the other three had finished dinner -- again, despite our many inquiries about its whereabouts. We were treated rudely, and service was abominable. We will never go there again and will tell everyone we know not to go there. I wish there had been a "zero" rating because they deserve it.

I wanted to like this place, the higher prices would indicate that they have some quality but I was really disappointed over and over. Most of the waitresses are nice but a different one took our order and was really uncheerful. It was all downhill from there. My party of three was served two rolls but we never got any chopsticks. We thought they were coming right back with utensils but after four minutes staring at our food; I got up and found them at the waiters station, also grabbing soy-sauce present at every table but ours. The three-sided plate would be pretty hip if it werent for the numerous huge chips on corners and edges. Id be shocked if the miso soup is not instant microwave brand and the Fuji roll we had was a little funky. The saving grace was the chocolate cake (Hey came with 2 forks!)

Vegetarians beware. The miso soup is not vegetarian and there is likely meat in your veggie dish. Very disappointed when I ordered a veggie tempura roll and veggie tofu plate, the roll had fish eggs on it. Cross contamination from another roll served on the same plate. As a vegetarian, this is unacceptable. Meat/fish and veggie rolls go on separate plates and should be prepared with dedicated veggie only work surfaces. The service was lousy. I was only informed that my miso had meat in it when I complained about the fish eggs on my veggie roll. The food I did eat was heavily salted and tasted like a microwaved meal. I wont ever eat here again.

AMAZING!!!! We were out lateish (9:30) were craving sushi, and were impressed that they were open until 10:00! They didnt rush us even though we did go in close to closing. They let other people in too after us. The staff is phenomenal because of their response time and friendliness. The seating area is open, so the staff can see and respond to everyones needs. The price was on the higher side but not too high. The gyoza were fantastic, and so was the rice. The eel, which is my favorite, was kind of tricky to taste in my roll though. Id be happy to recommend this place to anyone though because of the fantastic staff and quick service.

Sushi is meh, but the service is even worse! I stopped by yesterday around 3:30, only to find that it was closed (though there was no "Closed" sign, and the hours on the door stated that it should be open). I looked inside, and saw two women (the owners, I assume) sitting at a table talking. I knocked, and they just looked at me. I double checked the hours, and knocked again. They stayed seat, and just shook their heads at me - did not even get out of their seats to tell me that they were closed, why they were closed, or when they might open back up. It was incredibly rude! Never going back.

In an area filled with conveyor belt sushi houses, its not hard to say that Mio Sushi is good. The prices are decent, and the veggie rolls and vegan-vegetarian options are California standard (which is good!). What makes them capital "g" Good though is knowing you can go in and have a chat with friends pretty much uninterrupted and the same level of attention to the order & patron is paid to someone like me who is a vegetarian (vegan when it comes to Sushi & Micropub food) with a low cost meal as someone who eats fish (and much more costly) meal. Well done.

Flavorless fish, incredibly poor service, and a general disdain for what it is theyre serving. Their tuna has no viable flavor or texture, their salmon had very little, and their presentation stunk altogether. The Teriyaki was alright, though boilerplate at best, the Miso was everything wrong with restaurant Miso in a single bowl, and I generally would not wish this restaurants food or service on my worst enemy at this stage.

Worst customer service ever I call in for a phone order and am told to hold rather then put me on hold literally instead the waitress places the phone down so I can hear how Loud it is in the restaurant and taking other peoples orders...... Nope never again and some if my friends have experienced the same treatment so they lost about 16 people who no longer will be eating or ordering from there again!

They run a tight ship because they have plenty of seating available including in the outdoor patio area, courteous wait staff, quick service, great tasting food, lower cost entrees compared to other Japanese restaurants, lower priced sushi rolls, and updated furnishings with contemporary decor.

We are new to the area and we were looking for a sushi place. The food was excellent and the service was great, the place was packed and we had to wait about 15 min for a table but they did everything they could to accommodate us. The Ramen soup was awesome!

Havent tried any of the premium rolls. The ones that I have had are priced well, and have always been high quality. The service is always fast, and with the sushi made to order, there is no questioning the freshness. I always enjoy stopping by for lunch.

Two words: SUSHI PIZZA. Not what you think: layer of seaweed, layer of sticky rice, cooked salmon, toasted sesame seeds and teriyaki sauce. You are missing out if you dont try this! The regular sushi is fantastic here as well! Everyone is really nice :)
