Incredible pies, killer breakfast and lunch, with great friendly service. I camp on the east side of the olympics throughout the summer and its not complete without a case of Hamms from the Brinnon General Store and a stop in to our favorite breakfast stop. Weve decided to camp on the peninsula rather than the foothills just for the scrambles. Just go. Thank me later.

Great, truly epic pies. Food is above average, other than the canned or frozen veg on the dinner plates. Service is a little scattered and definitely caters to the locals at the expense of tourists. Pan fried oysters are actually deep fried, but tasty just the same. Sirloin steak is pretty chewy, but tasty, and perfectly cooked to the level of doneness that you ask for.

Service is almost as bad as geoduck tavern...and thats an understatement. If my Texan grandma came here for biscuits and gravy there would be a revolution. This place is a disgrace to American culture. 10 minutes away is the GearHead cafe where they actually care about their craft and service and giving a f$&!

Great atmosphere. Really friendly staff. Excellent food. Coffee was good, but brewed, no specialty coffee that I know of. Prices are a little high but worth it when your food gets to the table. Good portion sizes. Pies and crumbles where amazing

Thanks to the Web, we heard that the Halfway House had a fabulous fried oyster sandwich. The Internet was right again! We had it for breakfast, which may have earned us funny looks, but it was amazing. Also, the pies we took with us were swell.

This place is great, not because it has the best food, not because its the most stylistic, but because it provides the perfect atmosphere, large portions, and a friendly wait staff. Ive been camping nearby. I wish I would have found it sooner.
