I dont usually write bad reviews, but honestly, this food was disgusting! We ordered Kung Pao and Sweet and Sour Chicken, our usual whenever we order Chinese. The chicken was chewy and flavorless and there was soggy breading with no chicken in it in the Sweet and Sour. We also ordered the hot and sour soup and I almost gagged when I smelled it. The taste was bland and I couldnt get over the nasty smell. You have to pay extra for the rice, and the man was rude when we asked if they had crab puffs. If you want good Chinese, nothing beats China Jade on Cedar HIlls Blvd. Definitely avoid China Rim.

We ordered the special on the door (chicken wings and rice) as my husband is from New York where most chinese places serve this combo) and we got just teryaki chicken. Now this was togo and we called to tell them this mistake and they said they have never made a mistake in 14 years and would not replace the food or refund the money on top of that it was less than authentic and just plain bland. Please save your time and money and go to Mandarin Palace of Allen and Scholls Ferry in Tigard.. Worht the trip and amazing!! BBBOOOOO China Rim!!

We are never disappointed when we come here! The food is consistently great, and the price is not bad at all (especially the lunch special!). Our family has been coming here to eat for years, as the staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful. The look of the place may be a little less showy than other restaurants, but the food more than makes up for it. Try the orange chicken, or sesame beef!

Been there a few times... I dont think it should be 5 stars like all these other folks are saying. It is a simple fast food place in a strip mall, nothing more. It is not a PF Changs or anything close! Nobody makes seseame chicken the same... some places literally throw seaseme seads all over a chicken breasts and call that seseame chicken.

Horrible food, overall. Seasame Chicken was good. Sweet and Sour Pork, Bbq pork and pork chow mein were bad. Chow mein smelled like a dirty gym sock. Szechuan beef was sub par. Needed more heat. Felt ill 90 minutes later. Even the fortunes inside the cookie were bad. Shame China Rim, shame.

I have been coming to this place for the last 12 years and there are quite a few people like me. It is very clean, fast and very friendly little eatery. The food not spectacular but pritty good, it is also not expensive. I really like their Hot and Sour soup and Mongolian beef.

Terrible! Grease dripping off the spring rolls, dry steamed rice, fried rice had zero flavor, sweet and sour chicken was neither sweet nor sour, just bland, dry chicken with mushy breading. Worst tomato beef Ive ever eaten. First time there will be my last.

I love, love, love the sesame chicken and house fried rice. The owners and waiters are very nice people, quick to serve. Food takes a little while to make but, its not a buffet so what can you expect. Seating is nice. Weekends are busy.

The best Kung Pao, and Pot Stickers in all of portland. They make all their own sauce, their own rice wine and rice vinegar, Roast their own chilis, and mix their own oolong tea.
