An excellent assortment of Pho, fried noodles, and other mixed plates. Pho Tai was probably one of our most frequented restaurants in Olympia. While they were usually busy, wed never have to wait for table space. The servers were always friendly and were really good about keeping an eye on our table. The decor is bright and open, with the seating arranged in benches along the wall and a few tables in the middle. The menu had a good variety to it but wasnt overwhelming. There were a lot of mixed plates in addition to the pho. I loved the pho there (excellent broth) but I think my favorite was the carrot and beef stew. My SigFig used to either get one of the fried noodle plates or the fried rice. Shes from Hawaii and takes both of those dishes seriously. She was always happy with her choices. Speaking of always happy, she always loved their music selection. It was like they had tapped into her playlists with some Old Skool Jams.

EDIT! i wrote a great review three weeks ago! Ive been going here since i moved to lacey they closed the store for a day and next thing u know i go there the next day and the pho is sooo much more expensive and the service was crap man we are soooo dissapoitnted they were doing renovations nothing is diffrent except the prices and service. You lost my 3 dinners a month there so disappointed time to go pho huntin again. Orignal: idk why this place has bad reviews. Ive been here a couple times and it is our fav pho place ever. Extremely nice people. Quick, great food! I have seen some pretty rude customers though makes me sad becuase they are sweethearts. Spring rolls and fried rolls are amazing. And the prices are very good. Highly recommend!

Try the Bahn Mi. It is delicious. I appreciate that they always put the jalapenos right where you can see them so you can pick them off if you choose to. The waitresses are generally friendly and courteous, even though I almost always order the bahn mi to go. I was eating the bahn mi daily here for a couple of terms at St. Martins, but lately Ive been eating after class instead. The quality is consistently good. I went one day during lunch instead of at 4 p.m. and it was crazy busy in there, still got served in a reasonable amount of time, but the bahn mi was a little dry that day, maybe it was because they felt rushed. Still, this place is consistently good and highly recommended.

This is literally one of the three the worst restaurant I have been to in my entire life. It was a co-workers favorite place, so I went and tried it out for her birthday. The second horrible time I went was with that same co-worker and a group from work, only because we were going someplace else and they changed destinations en-route. It is popular thats for sure, and people talk about how "authentic" it is. In the world of authentic Vietnamese food there is amazing, good and really awful authentic!! This is Really Awful... Horrible... save your money. There are at least 5 other Vietnamese restaurants in Olympia/Lacey that are good to amazing and less expensive.

I will never eat here again. Twice now I have ordered food, specifically asking for "No peanuts", I have a severe allergy. Both times my food arrives with peanuts. Both times I sent it back. Once I asked for it to be packaged to go as it took so long. BOTH TIMES the cook scraped the peanuts off. That is unacceptable. People can DIE from a peanut allergy. Whomever you have working in the kitchen NEEDS to be FIRED. I am unsure why your cook thinks he has a right to risk peoples lives. Is it because he is to damn cheap, lazy or INCOMPETENT? I am guessing all three. Either way you will not get my money ever again.

My family eats here a little more than I want to. However, I have always enjoyed their food my personal favorites are Bánh mì ( sandwich), Yakisoba, firedrice, and not to forget the Pho. The only time I have experienced problems with the restaurant, would be when ordering. From time to time the regular staff would not be working and and the replacements mess up our orders. The restaurant is always clean when I eat there, and the cost of food is reasonably priced.

The BEST pho in Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater. Their pho is the most consistent Ive found in the area (amount of noodles and meat), and the service is friendly and very quick. You will wait a bit during the lunch rush (10 min or so) but thats to be expected anywhere you go; during off hours you will get your food in about 5 minutes. Their prices are also amazing; their "small" pho is the same as most places "regular."

Myself and my co-workers call in lunch orders to pick up. I just love their #33 the Seafood Pho it is so good especially on a cold day. Because they are big orders, I can split mine and have half today and the other half tomorrow. Just dont put the noodles and stuff in the broth when you put it in the fridge and when you heat it up the next day it is almost as good as the day before.

I strongly recommend against coming here for quality food. My complaints include: the rice was undercooked, the serving sizes were far too small, the service was under par, and the waiting time was unacceptable for the amount of customers present at the time (25 minutes with only four other customers). I, personally, will not be eating here in the upcoming future.

The food was extremely salty and that is all. I dont know why there are so many good reviews. This is not authentic Asian food. I looked pass the bad reviews and went here anyways. My soul died more and more as I shoved the pho in my mouth. What is wrong with yall taste buds.

I ordered a spring roll that was excellent and the large brisket pho. The portions were very generous, but the sprouts and basil that came with it were a little old and brown. Id definitely be willing to give the place another try, though, because despite that it was quite tasty.

Teriyaki chicken was not very good here. Most the other stuff is pretty standard, didnt really stand out to me. Get better teriyaki chicken and rating will increase. Edit 4/6/17: Lowered to 2 stars because another group who got here and ordered after us got served before us.

Great place. Relaxed atmosphere. Large portions. My son is 9 and loves the Chicken Yakisoba. Wait staff is attentive and prompt. Its not fancy but its nice. Menu has decent selection of Pho and other Asian dishes. No sushi.

Noodle was bland.. so we accidentally spilled our coffee and ordered another one. They charge me for it because "it wasnt their fault". Good customer service. . Thats how youll keep customers coming!!

Food is good, but its very average. Seafood pho should be made with seafood broth, not chicken broth in my opinion. Their teriyaki is a bit too salty as well... But its not bad food at any rate.

Food is good but its a confused place. Its Vietnamese food...with latino cooks playing latino music with African art on the walls. Like i said good food but not the most authentic place haha
