We ate dinner at the round table with my grandmother. This would be my last supper with her, and where I would give my final goodbye to her. We had a lot of food. My grandmother always enjoyed a side of hot mustard with whatever we ate. Chinese food was a tradition for our family when my Grandmother came up to visit. I hadnt seen my grandmother in 7 years, and I choose to take her to Chaim on December 20th 2013. My grandmother died on new years day this year, 2014. There are plenty of connections for me to appreciate Chiam, but now I would go as far as to say the Chaim restaurant is like a personal axis mundi. Thank you for the fortunes Chaim!

This is the best hidden secret in Beaverton. I have been looking for a decent Chinese restaurant since moving from East side. I accidentally saw this place and noticed the full partaking lot. I pulled in. DELICIOUS!!!! My food was fresh, the restaurant was clean, the service was great and it is now my only go to Chinese restaurant on the westside (for good family dining) This is not PDX downtown super upscale posh. It is family style clean restaurant with fresh hot food and great service.!

So amazing to me to think anyone would have negative to say about a place that our family thinks is so amazing. Theres 8 of us, and we consider it our fave place to eat. Staff is super friendly and attentive to our needs as a large family. Food is served quickly, and we prefer it over any other place here in the Beaverton area. Seriously cant speak highly enough from our perspective. Been going to Chiams for over 30 years, and wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Everything was amazing. My girlfriend and I got the family meal for 3 so that we wouldnt have to cook for a few days. It is enough food for both of us to eat 3 meals. The food was also incredible. Best hot and sour soup Ive had in Oregon. This was the best restaurant experience Ive had in a while.

I love anyplace I can get Lo Mein and so few Chinese places in pdx make it. This is one of the places that does and it is a nice little place. They also have a Game Lounge that is open late. The food is spot on good. Its my new favorite place, mostly because its close to where I live.

Ive eaten there with my family off and on for many years, Ive never personally HATED their food, but Ill admit that it is definitely sub-par. I guess Im lucky to have a strong immune system because the rest of my family regrets it each time we give it yet another chance.

Tried it in their old location and didnt like the atmosphere or the food. Tried their new location for lunch with a business associate and we both knew there was much to improve upon in value and flavor. Will not go again and dont recommend it

My hubby and I have eaten here off an on for years. This is a great authentic restaurant. The prices are awesome!! The Chow Fun is just like what I use to get when working in Hong Kong. Take out on a rainy weekend night is just the best!
