First time eating tacos here at Taqueria el Rey. The place is clean, the taste of the tacos de carne asada was good but customer service was in many ways disappointing! As I was getting condiments from the self-serve table a lady just rushed in right next to me without saying a word, honestly I thought it was a little girl so a dismissed the incident... Surprise!!!! she was one of the ladies from the taqueria that was in a rush apparently trying to complete a drive-thru order!!!! No excuses, that was rude not to mention the attitude they had (2 of the 3 ladies) their body language was so obvious that they were rushing to get out of work or maybe they plain and simple dont enjoy working there, the expression in their faces showed lack of customer service. Customer service needs lots of help here!!!! If I was the owner and got to read a review like this one, no doubt I will make a change right away before I start loosing customers. De verdad me encanta este lugar. Casi siempre pido tortas o tacos de aquí. El pollo y la lengua son mis carnes favoritos. Las meseras son muy amables y profesionales. La única cosa que yo quiero que arreglan es que el drive thru es muy lento. Yo definitivamente recomiendo este lugar.

One of my favorites! If youre looking for authentic heres the place! The food is typically always a hit and they are usually friendly. Most of the girls are bilingual from what Ive noticed for those who dont speak Spanish or dont speak Spanish well so anyone can go here. They have recently done some updates inside which definitely was a huge improvement. Im just sad I moved to the north side of town because now I cant eat here as often. It was my go to when I didnt bring lunch to work.

The Lengua taco was great! I finally found a place that sells Lengua and it was tender and juicy, totally awesome experience! I ordered some of the burritos and they are huge! The only con I had was the burritos didnt have enough meat. They put a lot of rice, beans and sour cream in them though but next time, I like to order just the meat and make the burritos the way I like them with lots of Lengua meat!

The food here is amazing and authentic. I wash laundry at Quick Clean Laundry which is next door to Ta Quiera El Rey. I am here almost every laundry day. The price is fair, the opener comes in on time all the time. They know me as a regular with their drip coffee. They are really family friendly. I will proudly recommend this fine dining establishment.

My new fave spot for tacos. They remind me of summer vacations in Mexico. Authentic tacos and the green salsa is the best. Staff is friendly and they prepare your meal very quickly. Highly recommend if your wanting authentic Mexican food.
