Horrible service. Arrived to meet my parents who got there 10 min before I did. We waited about 30 minutes before anyone came and take our order, to which the waiter said it was busy. It was hard to believe considering there were empty tables and people arriving after us had their order taken before us. Once we got our food, it was lukewarm-cold. The waiter (AJ) never came back to check to see if everything was ok and our water was never refilled. On a happier note our bill was taken care of when we said something to the manager, but we will not be coming back.

Every small town has that one place the locals recommend. In Menomonie, this is it. Their homemade soups are fabulous, and theres no better place around for breakfast. They have a full menu of hearty fare, with GREAT service, reasonable prices, daily specials, and a terrific pie selection. Love the counter service experience, sitting on a vintage-style stool? Youll find it here - and the friendly, hometown atmosphere cant be beat.

Very good food, had the Swedish meatballs and they were delicious, however looks as the food is low sodium and low sugar as I had some eggs and pancakes and the maple syrup tasted less sugary than what Im accustomed to, eggs had little to no salt in them. The pie sealed the deal for me, had chocolate chip pie and it was done perfectly, better than the main course.

I really enjoy eating here. They have daily specials which are very reasonable, and the food is good. Its a nice place to go in, sit down, eat, and hang out with someone. They serve breakfast all day and I have not had anything that I really didnt like here. I have eaten here probably at least a dozen times, and this is the place we go when its up to me.

We were seated at the table and 2 other tables were seated right after us. The other 2 tables received their menus and got drinks, while we were just sitting there. We were sitting at the table for quite awhile,too. We decided to leave since no one was helping us. It was very disappointing since my kids were taking me out to a Birthday breakfast! :/

Sorry to say the waitress who waited on us didnt seem interested in coming back to check on us to even see if we wanted any desert. I watched her walk around answer the phone go to the back a few times. I had to ask another waitress for to go boxes. Really wasnt a good experience. Dont know if Ill go back.

The food is great for the price, a great inexpensive breakfast stop. Most of the staff is super nice and friendly, but there is one server who is very unpleasant, if you dont get him youll have a great time! We often go on weekends and the wait is never long. Yum!

Classic family restaurant feel, with amazing comfort food. Highly recommend their breakfast skillets, very filling and delicious. Great atmosphere and even better value. If you live in, around, or near Menomonie, I highly recommend you visit this restaurant.

I had the house Skillet which comes with 2 eggs and your choice of toast or pancakes. At the time I was very tired after a long night on the road and everything was delicious. Also everything is very reasonably priced. My whole meal was about 8 dollars.

Really wish there was a 4 1/2 (I use 5 very sparingly...). This place is really a gem - the staff are really nice to work with, the food is always enjoyable, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. I love coming here with family when we are in town.

Menomonie family restaurant has the best breakfast in town. The only bad part about it, is how busy it is on Sunday mornings. Other than that, I think its a wonderful home-like atmosphere with the sweetest waitresses/ waiters.

Stopped here while passing thru. Cute family atmosphere with friendly service. We enjoyed huge servings of delicious potato pancakes. Too stuffed to sample the homemade pies but they looked good! Well stop again next trip.

I was looking for a hometown type cooked meal. I ordered the Frisco burger. Not a lot of taste. Cheese curds werent very flavorful either. The service on the otherhand, was excellent.

Only been there for breakfast myself but never been disappointed great food at a good value cant go wrong. If you go on Sunday go before 10 it gets very busy once church lets out.
