I would like to preface that I understand Friday nights are popular for dining out. However, I expect food service facilities to understand this, as well. I called in an order for one person and was given an estimated time of 15 minutes. The man taking the order was extremely friendly. We showed up 20 minutes later to pick up; I estimated a five minute grace period. I paid and was told it would be ready in a minute. Twenty additional minutes went by as my four year old and husband waited in the car. As it is an open kitchen, I could see orders being made. Ive been in food service for the past 12 years; I understand stressful, busy sere times. When those times come around, a sense of urgency is crucial. Since I was able to see the production going on, I saw zero urgency. When I am told 15 minutes, I expect 15-20, not 40 minutes. If there is an issue, communicate with your guest. The manager (I assume) was pleasant and apologetic, but there are customer expectations that need to be upheld to ensure retention of customers. This was the first time I had returned in years because prior to today I was concerned about food handling procedures. Needless to say, I dont think I will be returning.

Well, first off by letting me say, the food is super delicious, this is by far the best little Ma and Pa shop for Chinese food I have been too in a loooong time, the people are SUPER friendly, and feeding a crew of 8 people is SUPER affordable. By the looks of it when you walk it, yes, its not to cosmetically attractive, but I havent had one bite that tasted like old grease or stale food. Im most grateful for this place cause the first night I came in to pick up my food, the people we obviously busy and this grumpy lady came in, and realized she was at the wrong resturant, the guy wanted to replace her meal even though they didnt make it.... Customer service was more than outstanding!!!!

The food here is not always the best quality, and the descriptions are not always accurate either. In the 5 years Ive been in Norman, I come here every time as soon as Ive forgotten my previous experience. The portions are also rather small for the prices they charge. The staff, in 5 years, has never been friendly. Ive even waited at the counter for 15 minutes before I was even asked my order (on a particularly slow evening). Additionally, if youre looking to get your food within 20-25 minutes, this place is NOT for you. For a simple bowl of fried rice, I have waited 15-25 minutes. If you can avoid this place, you should.

I called in a order for pick up for fried dumplings and got home only to find out they did not put the sauce in with my order. I called and they would not have a driver deliver me sauce because they were "too busy" To drive 4 mins away. Not sure why their mistake should be my inconvenience when they already have drivers out and about. And they never even offered to make up for it next time (as many restaurants such as McDonalds will do when they screw up your order) Will not order again.

I always say, if you go to a Chinese restaurant and theres an 8ish year old kid working the register, you know its going to be good. This place did not disappoint. Its really good, and they give you a TON of food. All the food has Asian names so you have no idea what youre getting, but 9 times out of 10 its going to be really good. Just like the jedi, I will return.

This is my favorite place for ordering and picking up Chinese food. Its delicious and super fast. The workers are always extremely kind. The owner usually offers me free sodas with my drink even outside of the hours of the soda deal. He is really a great guy. I go through a couple of times a month. Very tasty too! The lunch special is an amazing deal. Go there!

The dine in is a typical Chinese place but the delivery is awesome and the food is Great. The foods always hot, and Ive never had a slow delivery like a previous person said. I guess that just happens. I love the hot and sour soup and the chow mien, and most times they deliver free drinks with the order.

Some of the best customer service Ive ever had. The gentleman who answers the phone and delivers to us is fantastic, always cheerful. The food is always hot and fresh. The special combination platter is a great deal for what you get, good sized portions. GREAT crab rangoon.

The first time I went to Happy Family, I watched the cook clean his wok and cooking surface before ordering. He obviously took pride in keeping a clean kitchen. After tasting his work, it is obvious he also takes pride in his food. Ive never been disappointed.

We ordered take out from this restaurant and waited an HOUR AND A HALF and STILL did not receive or food. We received no call informing us of the status or apologizing for the inconvenience. I will never order food here again.

The portions are way too small for the price. Also the crab Rangoon is terrible, theres nothing in it. Mongolian Beef had barely any beef and was slimy. Id spend my money elsewhere where you will get more for your money.

The guy on the phone is amazing.....they remembered our order from last time and put in a free order of soup. Honestly the guy that takes your order is the best customer service person I have ever encountered.

Even if they are extremely busy the food is always fresh and hot when delivered. They are cheap and people are pleasant. Only 10$ minimum for delivery! I always tip the delivery person, they are waiters too. :)

I drive 7 miles across Norman from the south side of Moore to get their delicious fresh food at least once a week for take out. Doesnt have that month old grease smell or taste.The staff is always friendly.

If you look through the front window, you WONT go inside and eat. Filthy, run down place needs to be closed down! Food was not edible and a bug was crawling under our table. Nothing good about this place.

I love asian cuisine and have searched all of norman for typical "city food". I love greasy chinese and like places that deliver. This food isnt only delicious but it is made freshly when you order it!

Literally the best Chinese food you can find in Norman. Quality and portion sizes are great, prices are great. Service is always fast. Im a poor college student and whenever I crave Chinese I go here.
