Oh, heck yes, Seoul Garden! I was as surprised as anyone to find that the finest Korean food in the area can be found in an unassuming storefront in Parmas Pearl Road retail drag, but those are the facts in play, folks. My husband, my parents, and I made our first trip to Seoul Garden yesterday evening and wasted no time getting waist-deep into their menu. From the Appetizer selection, we opted into a large order of Fried Dumplings (Mahn Dool Gul) and Rice Cakes in Chile Sauce (Ddeik Bok Gi). The Dumplings were incredible: crisp on the outside, pillowy soft on the inside, and bursting with flavor - you can tell that the dough is homemade. The Rice Cakes were a new experience for me; the term cake is somewhat misleading here, they are more like a very thick, starchy noodle. The chile sauce was the real draw for me on this dish: bright vermillion color, a jolt of heat with enough smokiness and sweetness to balance it. I may not order again, but it was worth trying! Our appetites adequately whetted, we moved on to mains: my husband and I were both eager to try their Gop Dol Bi Bim Bap - and we werent disappointed! The aroma of sesame oil crackling against the hot stone pot that was singeing a crispy crust onto our rice: heaven. The dish was served with a good mix of vegetables, a great fermented chile sauce, and the full bevy of accompaniments that you would expect - all of which were excellent. The portions here are generous/commensurate with the price point, the service was polite and attentive, and the ambiance was pleasantly simple. Im looking forward to coming back again and trying some more of what they have to offer, namely the incredible-looking vegetable pancake. I give Seoul Garden an unreserved recommendation!

Went here for the first time because of recommendation from Korean friend what a disappointment. Ordered Seafood pancake without exaggeration it was mostly onions a few mussels you had to dig for and some squid $17.95. Told the server about the issue she just said she was sorry. Sorry doesnt cut it you either take care of problem or take it off the bill. Why is it that ethnic restaurants cant seem to get customer service? Ordered bibimbap hot stone first of Ive never seen lettuce on bibimbap hot barely any ground beef even my son asked me didnt you order ground beef, yes I did $14.95 for white rice and zucchini what a shame. Ordered beef short ribs which were great $22.95. Short ribs where the best thing about this place would I ever go back absolutely not. My son wanted water so I asked waiter for water he brings him tea and says here is your water. So had to ask another waiter for her to bring water. Seafood pancake bibimbap hot stone are Korean staples how do you mess that up? We spend close to $72 with tip and left most of food on table. This place is expensive, I dont mind paying i just want to be satisfied with what I ordered and not feel like Ive been robbed blind. What a joke? Stay far far away...

Last time I came here with my fiance, we paid for about 35.99 for the pork belly BBQ that came with a side of five pieces of sliced garlics and about three thinly sliced pieces of Jelepeno (which was only enough for three lettuce wraps)!! And with two different type of sauces on a smal platter and decent amount of lettuces. Well clearly, who would have expected to received only that amounts of stuff for the bbq stuffings and being overly charged for that one dish!? Totally not worth the money we paid for the amout that we get! In Cincinnati or Kentucky, the KBBQ we ever went to charge the same amout with unlimited meats & stuffings! Unfortunately, there arent many K BBQ places we could switch to in Akron or Cleveland! Very disappointed with how cheap they are with preparing the food we paid for! Not returning. Not saying their food r bad, but the amount they give compare to what you pay for at the end is unbalance. My questions is: why being cheap when you are charging alot for the food?

We were a party of 7 and had to wait about 40 mins (arrived at 6:30). When we got seated it took a very long time for anyone to wait on us. The waiting was getting a little annoying, but that was the only bad thing about our time here. The food was FANTASTIC! We ordered some steamed and fried dumpling and edamame. All of the apps were great. They also give you about 6 or 7 different pickled plates (kim che, tofu, radish, seaweed, zuccini, potato, bean sprout). And they also give you an egg dish. All were very good. As for the meals we had the Bibimbap, spicy chicken, and a beef dish. Everything was delicious. The service did get better. They were super busy when we got there and the place is very small Aside from the service at the beginning, this place was a 5... definitely plan on coming back!!!

Food is consistently satisfying, and the servers are all very polite and helpful. Like most Korean restaurants, there are plenty of complimentary side dishes, tea, and a "dessert" (here its a small yogurt drink), and they are happy to replenish your favorite side. Some items can be a bit pricey, but for food youd be hard pressed to find elsewhere, it can be worth it on occasion. Only criticism is it could be a wee bit cleaner (specifically the short wall next to our table). We had a little fly friend who wouldnt leave us alone until halfway into our meal. :/ Would still come here again and again.

I think they have the best korean food around. I got turned on to it by my buddy who lived in Korea for 5 years and said its legit. I believe him. It doesnt really look like much from the outside or the inside but, when they start brining out the food that ceases to matter. Ive been three times. Got the bbq for 2 each time and both of us have left fuller than we could imagine. All the side dishes that come with are pretty tasty. And unlimited. But I am all about the beef in lettuce wraps. Service is prompt. They have Sojou and korean beer which go great with the copious amounts of food.

Wish I had the ability to give them as many stars as our national debt because it is that great and better! Many left with multiple bags left over to take home. It is so good I ate the whole thing, every last bite! Ill do it all over again too. Truly food heaven. As Arnold would say, Ill be back! Hanna is part of the family and does an outstanding job of keeping all the balls in the air, while serving with a beaming happy smile. Dont come for the atmosphere. Come for the food!!!!!!!

I went for my sisters birthday at lunch time. The place is small and it was full so we had a bit of a waiting time. It appeared there was only one waitress and she warm, friendly, and helpful our entire stay. The food was great and worth the wait to get a table. The only downside is my sister has a sensitivey to fish and many menu items are made with fish stock. Not the restaurants fault, but something to keep in mind if you allergies.

If youre looking for (what I believe to be) authentic Korean food, then this is the place. Be prepared: it will seem a little pricey up front, but you get a TON of food, and its really, really good. In other words, what Im saying is that the price for quantity and quality is actually pretty good! Everyone that I know thats come to Seoul Garden has really enjoyed it, and the staff is awesome!
