Miega is by all means, an ethnic Korean restaurant. It is located within Asiatown at the "Asian Town Center" on the second floor of the building. Upon arriving, youll notice several televisions displaying Korean TV, cultural decorations on the walls and severs dressed in traditional clothing. The service was decent, our server was polite but not all that prompt. She brought parts of our dishes out at different times, when the entire entree should have just been brought out at once, which was nerve wracking. There was only one other problem we encountered while dining here, it was hot, hot, HOT inside of the restaurant. It felt as if there was no air conditioning present whatsoever. Yikes. The food again, was very ethnic and could easily feed 6-7 people instead of the 3-4 the menu suggested. We decided on the hot and spicy seafood "hotpot" which again, is enough to feed a load of people, so dont order it unless you have a crowd of more than 4. It was certainly an interesting experience, as none of the actual seafood used in the hot pot is listed inside of the menu. Thankfully, I was able to identify most of it from having attempted to cook Korean dishes at home in the past. It was a pleasant experience, I enjoyed my surroundings the most and almost felt like I was at home, aside from the lack of AC.

Pretty good Korean barbecue joint in Cleveland. First off its downtown in an asian plaza and is right next to a karate place; which makes you pumped up when you walk past a class going on. Also upstairs I guess they have some kind of drum class because you hear all sorts of music going on up there. Now to get to the food; it was great just like all Korean barbecue places, kind of hard to describe but really tasty. The service was great too, my server was very friendly and would come around whenever you rung the bell (yes they have a bell on the tables to summon your server). This is exactly how all restaurants should be that way if you need your waiters attention you just ring a bell. Bottom Line: Good food, great service, and a unique location all make this one of the better korean restaurants in the Cleveland area.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The service was very rude. We were reminded constantly that they close at 9:30 even though it wasnt 9:30 yet. We came in around 8:30 and a reservation was made ahead of time, and they had to ask the manager is it was alright if we could be seated (@ 8:40). We ordered quickly hence they seemed upset. (@ 9:25) they told us they were closing in 3 minutes so we quickly left. Tip was left under the bowl but it was overlooked so the lady only saw 7 cents, which was our change when we paid our bill. We quickly left and the lady ran after us screaming saying "you can have your 7 cents back!" This was very rude and unprofessional. The food was made in a rush and did not taste as great. I will never recommend this place to anyone else, and I will never step foot back into this place again!

Miega is located in 38th st btw Superior and Payne Ave which is known as asian town area they are second floor of asian town plaza I tried bulgogi and spicy squid I can tell those were the worst bulgogi and spicy squid in my whole life It wasnt busy time and in fact I and my wife were alone in empty restaurant so they should have cooked perfectly Bulgogi was cook too much not tender at all even though it was extremely thin and also had no taste and hard to finish when i was very hungry Spicy squid was even hard to chew with too much cook sauce wasnt enjoyable I would not go there again unless they will have new chef

Loved it. I will definitely be returning. Service was amazing, everyone there was so kind to us! Not to mention the food was amazing. I ordered the Chichken Kat Su and Ive never had better food in my life. My sister ordered the Tteokbokki and it was amazing, too. Ive never had Korean food before and I was worried I wouldnt like it, but this food was so amazing theres no way I can go without eating it again in my lifetime. I definitely recommend this place.

This place is unfortunately not as good as the Family Korea House Barbecue across the street, outside of the Asia Town Center. It is unfortunate because this was the place listed in our book, Where Chefs Eat. The fried pork and fried dumplings we got were great, but the kimchi and other foods were quite frankly bland, and some too spicy. The accompanying food besides the entree are such a part of Korean cuisine that for them to be lacking is a big hit.

Excellent Korean BBQ!! Not only is it fun to cook your own food over the little grills... but it was also delicious. Of particular note, one of the entrees we ordered was a grilled mackerel and it was out of this world good. I cant wait to go back.

Nice place, small canned drinks but a fair resteraunt price I suppose. Also they let you bring in your own alcohol/beer since it seems they dont serve any. Very polite and wonderful staff and wonderful food

I took my wife on her birthday for Korean Barbecue. The food was ok but the customer service was terrible. The waitress did not refill our drinks .only came back to our table to give us the check.

Food is very authentic as the owner is an immigrant to this country, bringing home the flavors of South Korea to the U.S. !
