Ive been going to the China Buffet for years. They have the best wonton soup of any buffet (or restaurant) that Ive had. Yes, they are a buffet-style restaurant, however, I have always found the food to be tasty and well worth the price. In additional to the wonton soup, the crab rangoon and pot stickers are also good. The restaurant was remodeled earlier in 2012 and the facelift has definitely improved the ambience. I mainly go during lunch. You cant beat the value...for less than $10 you get appetizers, entrees, desserts, a drink, and a view of the Oregon District and downtown. The staff is always friendly, too. Its convenient, affordable and yummy.

Walked in the door and was immediately hit with a face full of steam, and the smell of fish. The entire restaurant was damp and sticky, and there were towels at the bottoms of the windows to catch all the condensation streaming down them. Apparently it has been this way for a while as there was most definitely BACK MOLD on the ceiling! Dont go there unless you are going to the doctor directly afterwards. The health inspector would be appalled.

Best service ever! My partner and I came in late on a sunday night and were the only people in the restaurant. The man behind the counter came out and told us to let him know what we like so he could make fresh. We told him we didnt mind eating what was there, but he kept asking " do you like this... how about this" Within a few minutes he came out of the kitchen with plates and plates of steaming fresh food. It was amazing. He was the best!

Never been here before. Informed the gentleman that cashed me out. Told me "everything should be good. If i would have come earlier then it wouls be better, but its ok now." Food isnt fresh, crab legs had to be requested and were over cooked and some were empty. The floors became slippery and my friend slipped and twisted her ankle. Not very good experience. I wont be back

We went at dinner time around 7:30p. Food was Hot and very good. No empty pans on the buffet . Price is reasonable. was $20.90 for 2 & that included a beverage. quiet setting. was easy to locate. other than some complaining patrons that had just eaten 6 plates of food then stopped to complain as we were leaving, we enjoyed our visit and will be back! we went bc of the 4

Tanya Patterson, its brought, not brung honey. Its also a buffet and NOT there all for you, you glutinous, backwoods swine. My fiance and I have been here many times, even close to closing time they still have an incredible selection of hot, fresh food. The greeters and servers are amazingly friendly, and its cozy with an at home feel. P.S. I mostly come for the sushi

Definitely will come back again. This is really wonderful place. If youre looking for good quality tasty food, this is the place. Looks like its family owned. The service is not as in high end restaurants, sort of go ahead and help yourself. But they treat you more like a family rather than a customer. Really good place.

Decent dishes for a price you cannot touch. Pepsi products (bummer), but included in the price of the lunch buffet ($6.70). Hot/Sour soup is better than most (judgement point for chinese buffets). Have eaten here >10 times and will return. Cannot beat the value at lunch if you are in the Oregon District.

The food was awful, depending on what you were eating it either tasted straight up bad or was extremely bland. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars was bc the staff was friendly and polite. It was certainly not worth the $25 for a 2 person dinner. Ill stick to CJ Chan where the food tastes good.

I would say this is one of the best chinese buffets in Dayton. Good prices, food is fresh, moderately clean. Try the peanut chicken and the japanese chicken. Worth the price of admission. They dont have bad sushi rolls either. This place is one of my guilty pleasures.

Says they are open until 10:30, went to place a carry out order at 9:50 and they wouldnt do it. Ive never tried their food because of this but north village on Brown street had no problem taking my carry out order when their time was wrongly posted on this app.

For a hole in the wall chinese place, the food is stellar and the prices wont break the bank at all. I recommend this little place over a high priced buffet. Might not be a huge selection, but the food is always good, and the soda is always super bubbly!

Ive been here with my girlfriend a few times and it was great! The only problem i had was I didnt care for their egg or spring rolls. Just didnt like the texture/fillings that they used. Otherwise really good food!

Phenomenal price that is paid in advance. I think we were around $50 for 6 people. Drinks included, Coke products contrary to some prior reviews. Good food. Peanut butter chicken is where it is at. ^.^

This buffet is a great hole the wall place to get Chinese food. The food is usually tasty and the right temperature. The cost of beverages is included and the plates are collected frequently.
