I actually like a lot of things about the place, but unfortunately the food was not all that great which is what matters the most for a restaurant. If the food was above average I would have no issue giving it 4 or 5 stars. Lets start with the good. Unlike all the other buffets I have ever been to, tips and drinks are already included. Everything is self serve including getting your own silverware and getting your drinks. The only time I see people tip is on the hibachi. The price has gone up slightly since the first time I went last year, but $8.99 is still very reasonable especially if you normally get drinks anyways. Their grilled cheese salmon and the chicken next to the hibachi chicken is pretty good too. The unlabeled chicken manages to taste both like fried chicken and chicken tender at the same time and is probably my favorite dish there. Unfortunately, things starts to do downhills from there. Some dishes, like the rice noodle and chicken broccoli, are average at best. However, average is bad in a buffet styled restaurant since you cant really compete with freshly cooked eat-in diners. Stirred friend potato was ok, but then again, its hard to mess up a stirred fried potato. Theres nothing wrong with these food, but a majority of them just tastes bland. Now the bad, the sushi bar and the hibachi grill. The sushi on display physically didnt look attractive, and the flies over the bar counter is not doing it any favor. The hibachi bar especially is a real shame, because the steak itself is actually decent. However, the seasoning was terrible. There was literally no taste and I can see my plate dripping with oil by the time I half finished it. It was the worse hibachi I have ever had which is a crying shame because as I said, it is waste of good meat. One thing I did not try was the mussel next to the salad because I am not a big seafood guy. It looked decent, but then again, so did the Hibachi. If the rest of the stuff is anything to go by, they have probably put good ingredient to waste. I would really suggest their chef to work out some new recipes or just change the chef, because everything else is pretty good. The self-service model, sanitation, good ingredient. All they need is better food for it to be a good experience.

Came in at 4:30 food was very old, all of it. The sushi sitting at room temperature for multiple hours i would not touch for fear of my life. Fresh food started coming out at 5 but they mixed the old food into it as well and it was mediocre at best. The hibachi was very bland and the meat was old. I give 2 stars because the fried shrimp came out just before we left and the coffee cakes were delightful. After asking for fresh sushi or at the very asking to put out the roll that was just made i was told this is for dinner. Will not return.

Not mired in the gentrified pretension of affluent suburb Atlanta, this place is a breath of fresh air. Its a classic format Chinese buffet with quirk or two. They had chicken tacos on the buffet! What! Lots to eat, decent price. Drink included in the buffet price. That was kind of nice; no decision to make. The hibachi stuff was okay. The sushi rolls were pretty darn good for what they were. Standard different prices for lunch vs. dinner, weekday vs. weekend. Cheapest being weekday at lunch, of course.

Its closer to my house than every other sushi/hibachi restaurant, its less expensive, and its self-serve buffet lets me eat more than the $15 plate of food youd order at Rice or some other place. Plus, there is no upcharge to eat hibachi and sushi like there is at other Asian buffets, which is awesome. The Lo Mein is a little bland, but I eat my Lo Mein with hibachi chicken anyway, which adds the perfect amount of flavor to those noodles. Good birthday party location, as well

Walked in rudely greeted at the door as if my business there was an inconvenience. Half of the food was bland and the other half was cold. Almost 10$ for lunch on a saturday. The wood on some of the tables was warped. Some guy who had no affiliation with the restaurant kept trying to talk to me and my friend. I only gave 1 star because the floors and tables were clean

I should have knew something was up when I was asked to pay before sitting down. +1 star for cheese wontons being good, but its gard to mess that up.

I really enjoy Ichiban. I come here regularly during my lunch break and it is a great place to go. The hibachi chef is very friendly as well as the staff at the front desk. The man making sushi is not the best but it is still delicious. The food here is consistently good.

Well i found a piece of plastic in my dessert roughly the size of a crumbled sweet and low pack I brought it the attention to the lady at the desk and she says sorry and that was it Seems as if its alright to have plastic piecs in your food.

Its a Chinese buffet + hibachi + sushi. They have snow crabs for an additional fee. Pepsi instead of Coke is a slight detraction but would readily come back because all the recipes are enjoyable. Very clean. $12 including drink.

paid 25.00 for two at the door to a very rude man. No wonder they take the money upfront. The food on the buffet was old. Even simple things like chicken wings looked dried out and awful. Maybe they were from mummy chickens

Sketchy from the moment you walk in. Feels dirty and the food is below average. Would not recommend to anyone. Left our food on the tabke and walked out, it will leave you with the worry of food poisoning.

Its a typical Asian food buffet. Theyve got all of the typical Americanized Chinese food such as Sweet and Sour Chicken. They have a nice Hibachi bar and sushi bar.

Great I go there all the time. You cant beat 8.99 all you can eat. Love there stuffed shrimp and salmon. They have a wide variety. The price is all you pay no tip.
